Are there some simple strategies to increase your YouTube traffic once a vid has been uploaded? Outside of the tags? Just put up my first vid promoting an ebook of mine...would love any suggestions or WSOs that demystifies the process...

    Sure, one way is to approach high traffic videos in the same niche and apply to the video owner to add a video response below his/her video.

    You could "piggy back" a high traffic video that doesn't have a clickable link below, email the owner and offer them a small cash sum to park your own video link below their video.

    Check out the keywords of the top video you are competing against. Look at the keywords in their video title then check below their video for his keywords and use the same keywords for your video.

    Add you video link to your status update on Facebook. Shorten the Youtube URL with a link shortener and post tweets on Twitter.

    You can use backlinks to increase the rank of your YouTube video. Also try commenting your youtube video link on similar popular videos in your niche
