niche blogging and amazon affiliates

I was looking into Amazon also but haven't decided on it yet. I am in affiliate marketing as well with very little income at this point. I am going to work on doing some freelance writing on top of doing some blogging on my site, article writing and working in forums. I am thinking of adding the Amazon affiliate program though, as it seems to look good from what I could tell. The one thing I couldn't tell was if you can just have the link for it or if it had to be constantly promoting random products. Anyway, good luck with it and keep us informed here so we can find out if it works well for you.

Why not just create a short report and offer it for $5 on your blog? If you have enough traffic to get 2 cent adsense clicks you surely have enough to sell a single copy of a $5 report. That one sale is worth 250 clicks! Imagine if you sell 250 reports at $5 each!

You should try making money on Ebay if you're in a bind. And if you don't mind the packing and shipping part of Ebay, maybe you can turn it into a full time income for you. This is definitely fast money here into your Paypal account. But if you don't want to do Ebay, sell a $7 ebook and make money on autopilot.

Amazon sites are the first thing I started doing about 4 years ago when I got involved in IM. Made my first sale there as well, a treadmill. I really like their program, but it is not one of my main business models anymore. I still have some sales coming in from those sites I haven't touched in probably over 3 years though. Everything was targeting specific product names.

My answer is, if you think that's something that you can do well at then go for it. If you can pick the right keywords, get your content ranked, then there is no reason you wouldn't make money. I just didn't enjoy it as much as what I'm doing now so I moved on.

Iv been doing affiliate marketing for 4+ yrs now and work from home doing it I ignore adsense why put an ad up to get 20cent clicks.

Put a banner on to another product ie use clickbank and get a $30+ sale it works for me i stopped using adsense i just find it pointless unless its your only focus.

I builkd niche blogs:

1 find a niche
2 find keywords
3 create a blog around it add at least 10 blog posts with your 10 keywords "hungry buyer keywords"
4 then its traffic and there is so many free methods for traffic its awsome
or either here on the forum or fiverr dot com:p

now I have many site, but none money back.

Honestly I think that you will do best with fast money if you create an ebook, I think if you have the traffic at your blog make an ebook thats related to your blog and that is very tragetted. Then from there you will get some sales right away but you must make the ebook sound really good. Im currently writing one and it takes some time to get with it but once you do many people have a good amount of success with it.

I would not get into Amazon if you need quick money. It takes a while to see any ROI and is a long-term play, probably more so than most IM strategies. If you are really in a bind, start writing for people. You can offer your services here and/or on Fivevrr, Elance, and oDesk. For example, you can offer to write Build My Rank posts for $1/each (they're only 150 words long).

Creating niche sites is a long-term business model, and Amazon takes way longer than AdSense.
