A plan I came up with that would help me make money with Amazon Affiliates + Clickbank at same time on the one site.

Make a site on Wordpress that focuses on ebooks and nonfiction books.

Promote the products, (have a page dedicated to each book), there will be dozens.

(Just to let you know I'll be using WP eCommerce to get the site looking good).

I'll have the different ebooks and nonfiction books under categories, so people can choose different ones they like, depending on what they're into.

They click on Amazon or Clickbank link, buy it and in comes the money!

Simple plan but it could definitely work.

Your thoughts?

    I think it sounds like it would work, if you can bring in the traffic and choose the right (hot) books to promote.

      Problem is the traffic. I'd imagine there'd be competitors out there for books. Can you promote eBooks on Amazon actually?

    Yes there will be competition but as you are building an authority type site your site will build strength the more it grows and the ore backlinks are pointed at each of the pages.

    Maybe pick a few books you plan on starting with any analyse their competition to see how you will get on. Make sure you really think about the structure before you start as once started you will find it difficult to change.

      Thanks for the advice, I'll bear that in mind.

      Also, are you allowed to have both Clickbank and Amazon affiliate links on the same page?

        Definitely yes, as long as you use the content from Amazon (e.g. pictures, text, data from datafeeds) to promote Amazon items only. So, you can't use an image from Amazon and link it to Clickbank for example.

    It can work, but most of your work will be getting targeted traffic. After considering the work involved ask yourself if its worth it to sell books based on the commission on each book.

      There will literally be hundreds of books placed on the site, so the profit will add up. Targeted traffic will be the hardest part, yes.
