Opt in Form That Disappears

Thanks but it's not what I'm after.

I'm after the one that you can add the subscription box to any page and once you press submit it just disappears and the page shrinks to cover up where the box was.

Terry Gibbs had one that opened in the page, then disappeared and left you on the page after opting in. Can't remember the name, but Google Terry and his Nalroo (sp?) site.

Could you be more specific?

1. if you want to have a box on your website to disappear after the user pushes the submit button, that can be done via js/ajax/etc ...

2. if you want the box to hide on a second visit, you have to drop a cookie.

It's called Phantom Opt In. It's pretty darn cool and disappears after the user opts in.

You want Robert Plank's option pop up. Not only does it have a dissapearing opt in box, but it also has an unblockable pop up box, and another script for getting people to subscribe to your email list when they post a comment on your blog.

Phantom opt-in box works wonders. Though you can only have 1 box per page, otherwise the message that shows after the submit is clicked wont show. It only shows for the first opt-in box on your page.
