Backing Up Your Computer / IM Data

I need some way to back up my computer data - all my tax info, business stuff, products, books, articles, etc.

I've heard Carbonite is good but it doesn't automatically sync everything so I'm looking for a product that will auto-sync all new data on my computer. Anyone found any good backup products on cloud that auto sync?

  • SugarSync! I've tried so many different ones. Dropbox is probably the most famous one, but they have one big issue. By default it only backs up everything that is in the dropbox folder. Meaning you need to move all your files into one specific folder. There are workarounds by using aliases etc. but it's a real hassle. Plus the dev team of dropbox said they are working on this for over 2 years now. Almost seems like a dead project.
