Warriors, Any Luck With Fiverr?

Sitting in front of Google not knowing where to go or what to search for among it's billions and billions of websites, the light bulb turned on!


Provide everything, at least close to, what one could possibly hope to be searching for...


Simply search for Free quality books to give them away for Free asking for nothing more than a small donation for my time. Simply slap together a basic HTML site, which I did at: (Signature) with the listing of all books to then sit back and watch the money roll in, right?


Oh wait, I have to market don't I?


Is it reasonable to assume this site can be thrown out to tens of thousands on Facebook via Fiverr or should I focus more on SEO, another idea?


If any luck with Fiverr can you suggest various ways to market my site through them? Any and all tips will be greatly appreciated by me as well as all viewing this thread. Thank you!

    I would say that fiverr, is best to promoting your brand and service. If you have some type of specialty or skill that grabs someones attention for as cheap as 5 dollars, you can go vary far with it! Good Luck!

      I see fivers as a way to make fast cash or as a sideline to make extra cash you shouldn't use fiver as a full time income in my opinion.

    Maybe I did not make myself clear. My hope is to use Fiverr for marketing rather than make extra cash. Possible to find incredible traffic through Fiverr? Or need I look else where?

      Traffic, maybe. Incredible traffic, not very likely. I wouldn't recommend buying any gigs on Fiverr that state "10,000 visitors to your site in 7 days" or anything of that manner. I bought one in the past when I first started out and yup, didn't do a thing at all... all from the same IP somewhere in Romania I believe, no leads, no conversions, nothing. At least it was only $5.00 spent, but I wouldn't advise of it.

      You can use Fiverr however with some of the high rated Tweet gigs on there, that may be of some help... but contact the sellers and ask all questions that come to mind prior. Or if a Facebook post is added on their page in relation to your niche (though I wouldn't count on tons of traffic).

      Other gigs that may be of some help, though highly debatable in the forum, is building backlinks.

      You probably have a better chance of going to Craigslist or Backpage and setting up some free ads to build traffic back to your site.

      You have options like:
      - Tweeting to your followers or having followers you're cool with to Retweet your website
      - Article Marketing and optimizing articles with keywords that relate to and tie back to your website
      - Pay per Click Advertising which can help but can also cost quite a bit if not monitored
      - Forum marketing with a signature of your website and a catchy but not spammy or advertisement sounding signature
      - Posting blog comments to which your website link is used, though you do have to wait for moderators to approve some comments

      You have had some excellent answers re: Fiverr. The "incredible traffic" you are seeking will probably only be delivered by a good, continuous, long term backlinking strategy. Someone I have used that fits that bill is Judah. Search the forum for "Judah" and you will find many of his offers. Best of luck with your endeavors!

      I have multiple marketing gigs from backlinks, to blog comments and forum posts (not spamming though). If interested, one of them is in my signature.

    I think it would be a complete waste of your time unless you do something that is 100% hands off and automated. You only get $4 per sale which is nothing.

    I've found Fiverr to be a good resource for getting some types of services done, mostly the mundane things that chew up my time. Time that could be better used with me doing something else that will add more value to my business. I frequently have Photoshop work done, graphics creation or updating, article writing, short video creation and some backlinking.

    You can also get some great work done really inexpensively at Odesk. If you're looking for backlinking services, the best workers I've found are right here on the Warrior Forum. You have a bunch of guys and gals who know how to do the job right and guarantee their work. Sure, it may cost a bit more than Fiverr does, but remember, you get what you pay for. Besides, it's a business expense so it's a tax deduction.

    Good question kvnkane. If no luck over at Fiverr, I stick to services offered here in WF for a few bucks more with possibly a lot more quality.

    The sad thing is, a lot of Warriors advertise their services on here only to outsource the work to fiverr so they make 4x or even more profit. Smart, but it shows there are actually some pretty good gigs available there if you sift through the garbage.

    It can also be a great marketing strategy if you can get a popular gig going that takes no more than 5 minutes to fulfill and you can work the backend.
