Ways to leverage a PLR ebook?

I have a couple of ebooks that I've purchased PLR rights to on copywriting. I've ready through both books and they give solid advice. Aside from just selling the ebook, what are some ideas for leveraging it so that I can gain the most from the information they have? I know there have been threads started on this topic before but I would rather interact with people here than search for old threads. Thanks for your help!

      Okay thanks. Yes developing a list totally slipped my mind but I can indeed do that...I know I can give away the first chapter of the book or make a special report dealing with one aspect of the book. I think I will do the first one.

    You can bundle them with another product you're promoting to increase its value, you can break them up into a series of reports to sell individually or to give away as list builders.

    2. Add a link or two to a recommended product or your own to earn money from it
    3. Offer high quality sound advice but leave a snippet to remain on your mailing list in order to find out even more quality information.
    4. Redesign the ebook cover $17 or so you can find designers on here
    5. Build a solid lead capture page
    6. Offer a OTO offer for a related PLR or MRR product after they opt in for your free ebook make it something like $1 or $7 consider this your buyers list and treat it with extra care.

      Thanks! Have you had any success with the series of individual reports? I haven't heard that one before. Also I do have another product I can bundle it with.

      I like all of these but thanks for suggesting the ebook cover especially. I hadn't given any thought to creating on. I just had large text in a different color on the first page but having a cover designed would help me sell more.

    1. Create a squeeze page to giveaway part of the ebook to build your list.

    2. After they opt-in, hit them with a related OTO.

    3. Keep on promoting the main product to your list.

    4. Promote related products of your own (PLR) or affiliate products to maximize profits.

    Depending on the rights...

    You could use them to make video's for your own marketing or to sell. You could make audio's from them. Both would be higher ticket items, compared to a ebook.

    Break them down into autoresponder messages.

    Grab a headset, find a quiet place and just read it out loud. You'd be surprised how many people would prefer to have an ebook read out to them. If you're not keen on having your voice out there check my sig, I'll do it for you.

    Break it up into articles. In fact, you could probably copy/paste chapters and they would still pass copyscape! I do this pretty often.

    Copywriting is a great subject for an ecourse also. You can break up the book into a "7-day ecourse" or however long, depending on the length of the book. Add some assignments for people to do after each portion of the course.

    Take each logical section and put the key points on slides, then talk through it to create a video series. That could also be packaged up and sold.

    You could also use one 'taster' portion to create a video or webinar that presells the main ebook or course.

    There are a number of copywriting and related programs and books out there that you can become an affiliate of. Then break up the ebook as a series of articles that you can add affiliate links to, or put in an autoresponder. You could use one part of the ebook as a special report to give away to build your list first. Then use the rest of it as emails or articles to promote your affiliate product.

    Also, write or buy more ebooks and offer those inside the ebook you are selling, called "cross selling". If they like your ebook, they will buy others.

    You could also break up a larger ebook into parts and sell each part as an individual ebook of a series.

    You can also sell your ebook offline as a hardcopy printed out, or even put on a cd. (This also could be an upsell option.) Some people still prefer "tangible" stuff.

      Does anyone know are you allowed to break up the chapters a PLR ebook and use them for articles to publish on your site? Or do you have to use the ebook as a whole?

      Often the rights listed to not mention this specific point.

    Mindmap the information using Freemind or other mind-mapping programs. This will allow you to see how you can repackage the information, such as in short reports, or other formats that have been suggested, much easier.
