What brings in more traffic?

Obviously it depends on how much fans/followers someone has, but just imagine they are all the same.

A Facebook like

A Twitter tweet

A Google +1

???
#brings #traffic

Facebook easily...because a like shows on their page so it scales extremely fast. If you want to see how powerful it is search on here for Justin Lewis then click his facebook video link. He has something like 60k fans/friends and for fun he made a post on his blog then did a "call to action" on his facebook and showed you refreshed his stats every few minutes...it's really crazy how viral it gets.

    This is a toughie!

I voted for Facebook although thats only because i have had relatively good success with it. I suppose quite a large factor is how many other facebook or twitter accounts the user is following. If they are following few accounts thent hey will have a bigger chance of seeing your posts instead of someone elses

I haven't even tried Google +1 yet though, have you had much success with that?

    Thanks,
    -Michael

Facebook is most popular to everyone. Twitter is becoming oldschool, and Google Plus I don't think anybody is using.

      Facebook for sure!

Twitter doesn't come close. At least the way I used it. Google+... no idea.

From personal experience, I voted for Facebook. However, I do think it will differ depending on how responsive the fans/followers are.

Facebook likes are so powerful. When I log into my Facebook account, I am always told of the pages so and so like. Some times I end up clicking on them just to find out what my friend is up to. Isn't that powerful?

So I have voted for Facebook like.

Google plus is still decades away. and Twitter is now full of fake accounts and bots.

How do you think your customers will feel if they find out that you view them as "traffic?"

    None of the above.

Responsible businesses create valuable products and services and then advertise them and spread publicity.

Customers comes from advertising and publicity. Real businesses value them because that is what they are in business to do -- make customers happy. They don't refer to them as "traffic", "herds", "marks" or anything else derogatory.

They don't equate customers to meaningless actions like votes on social network sites. Votes on social network sites come naturally as a result of making customers happy. They aren't a way to get new "traffic" and they do nothing to actually make your customers happy.

With the size of FB at the moment, I would say FB. G+ isn't used as prevalently, not saying it won't be a force in the future but not now.

I get the most traffic with Facebook. People read the content more over there than Twitter where there's a rolling stream of content every second and Google + where your target audience may not even be at.

If you have a fan page, check the insights there to see which content your fans like the most and make more of it.

It is not even possible to imagine they are all the same, because they are not.

But I will say this... Most FaceBook users will prefer to stay on FaceBook rather than to go elsewhere.

Must say that at the moment Facebook is working better for me than Twitter, Google+ is still relatively new so it may take a bit of time for it to produce any where near the results of FB.

With Twitter to work you have to have multiple accounts due to the 2000 follower limit plus the percentage added on to it, which means it can take quite some time to get a large following.
