set up a domain that doesn't have that in there. Then use .htaccess to forward from your wordpressdomain to that as the new sales page.

Whatever ClickBank likes/dislikes, "wordpress" is trademarked anyway, hello ...

A lot of people seem to use the letters "WP".

Depends on how you do it. If your sales page uses the non trademarked name and your main site you point people to ie the trademarked just points to that page then you abide by the rules because the actual sales page does not include that trademark. You just advertise to people your WP one and the .htaccess will forward them to the legal page to complete the sale. Shadyish but in my head works.

I think any attempts to "slip" around the trademarking would eventually lead to you having problems.
Your best bet would be as Alexa and others have suggested and just use the letters WP.
I don't think that can be construed as a close derivative of the word.
And most anyone will understand what WP stands for.

        No, it wouldn't.

Just stick with WP. It's common enough that just about everyone seeing "WP" assumes it means Wordpress.

WP is a good option. I have seen many WordPress related products using this instead.
