WSO Conversion Testing

Hey Warriors,

I'm debating whether to add a link to my future WSO's that go to a sales page or whether to try and sell via the actual WSO page.

Have you ever tested between the two? This forum is very welcoming and personal so I'm wondering if you've ever been "put off" of purchasing because you was directed to an off-site sales page?

For example I feel so much safer purchasing a WSO than I do buying from an eBay auction and wonder if linking your WSO to a different sales pages loses the Warrior atmosphere and buying confidence.

I prefer building a sales page on my own site for Warriors because I can add graphics and style my pages more easily using my WYSIWYG.

So, have you ever split tested the two?

    Louis,

I've been wondering the same thing. Then again, if you have the product selling on your site and direct Warriors there with a discount code that is a common practice. I have bought a lot of WSO's that way. In fact, I would rather do that than buy from an anonymous link.

I think there are other factors involved, for example, how much trust you have in the vendor. If you are a longstanding Warrior and have an established website that can be a factor in your favour.

Maybe John Taylor will pop in with hard split-testing figures

    Louis,

I haven't run a test myself on this, but I follow Big Mike when he runs his WSO's and many times he links to his own site, using the coupon code. In speaking directly with him he has told me on more than one occasion it is very effective for him.

I'm getting ready to start a membership and will be using a WSO to announce it. I will use a link to my own website with a coupon code for the discount on the offer. IMO I don't think I will see a drop off in sales and actually hoping for more sales.

Cool guys, I'm gonna see how it looks on page and if I can't get the quality will just link to my site.

I also don't like the fact of adding another step to view my offer.

    Thanks,
    Louis

    Louis,

I understand what you are saying about the extra step. That is why it's so important to give them a reason to take the extra step, discount coupon, extra bonus etc.

In other words $47.00 for the public to buy but $20.00 discount. Make sure your page is showing the public price then of course a place to enter the discount coupon. It must be real of course.

Why am I saying this to you, you know it already. :p
