I recommend looking through everyones posts on this forum. There is an endless amount of people with all the experience and knowledge you could possibly need to start your new business. Find a mentor. Stay motivated, remember not everything you do in IM will make you money. However when it does there is no greater feeling.

Welcome to the club! About 90% of the people in this forum are in your shoes. I can't give you a button to push that will make you rich overnight. You best get to work! Start doing a bit of research on the forum there is so much valuable information here.

Second the WR recommendation. It's a fantastic resource.
Sadly except for cold calling and picking up a bunch of offline clients in the next few days, or spending a bunch of money on a profitable PPC campaign (if you're good enough to lauch a profitable one right out of the gate, most aren't), there probably isn't too much you can do to bring in a lot of money in a hurry.

Sure, you can bring in plenty of money with IM, but most businesses will take at least some time to develop.

It is the same formula:

Research
Choose a niche
Research
Choose a product
research
Put up a website or blog
drive traffic
get list sign ups
promote to list
promote to visitors
reinvest earnings into back link and content campaigns
scale up
get advertising deals
scale up
continue building a relationship with your visitors and list
make your own product funnel
promote it to your list
get affiliates
rinse and repeat

It is actually doing all of those steps and sticking with itfor the time required that trips up many people.

This is a Bad Decision. Reconsider it.

At your age, there are more avenues available for you to attend college than there will ever be again. If you do not go now, there is an increasing chance year on year that you will never go, and you will almost certainly regret it.

If you honestly can't go to college, for whatever reason, that's the breaks and turn your focus to whatever you like. But look into it. Even if you don't get your degree, try to get at least two years of college under your belt.

It sounds to me like you do not know what you want to create online yet. Steve Faber has a great plan for you. Picking and sticking with a niche is where most people waiver. Do not switch to another plan once you start. Avoid the make money niche as a beginner for it is a trap.

I chose network marketing because as a affiliate marketer you just don't have leverage like a product owner. Network marketing gives you similar leverage as a product owner but unlike restricting your team of promoters, like affiliate marketers are restricted, everybody in Network marketing has the same leverage and residual income earning abilities.

Affiliate marketing is the most recommended starting plan but I want to make some points for you to consider. A while back they showed the stats on Clickbank for the percentages of the sales being made by affiliates. They took those stats down for some reason.

The top products in multiple niches had 80% to up to 99% of the sales being made by affiliates. That means that affiliates do most to all of the work and the product owner sits back and collects. That is only once the product owner has created a converting product and focused his efforts on finding affiliates.

Affiliate marketers are the equivalent to a performance based employee. They do not earn until a sale is made. Because there are over a billion people online that performance based worker can make boatloads of money. Hence the name super affiliate. The great thing about a affiliate is they can promote as many products as they want. They just cannot go recruit other people to do the work for them like a product owner can.

Then you have the product owner. A product owner is a performance based business owner who can gather unlimited performance based employees. A product owners best asset is to have a high converting product. Next is to gather hundreds to thousands of affiliates to do most of the work for him/her. The affiliate model is where most people are working inside of.

Well tons of people promoting similar products will result in incredible branding and massive traffic for the product owner but usually only a small percentage of all the traffic is awarded to most of the affiliates.

The marketers who know what they are doing from having traffic generation and conversion skill sets will be able to utilize affiliate marketing to make a full time living. The ones who have not yet built their skill sets to consistently get targeted traffic and then convert it will struggle to make little or no money. Super affiliates are usually other product owners and or advanced marketers who have built high level skills.

So now lets look at network marketing. One of the biggest reasons people repel network marketing is because of the high start up investment. On average $500-$1,000 is the average. It can go as high as $3,000 to $5,000. That scares most people away. I didn't go with a high priced company for other reasons then affordability.

The company I chose has a less than 50 cost to start. In network marketing its similar if not more potential leverage and residual then a product owner. There are pros and cons. Pros of product owners is that you can create as deep a funnel as you want. Your ranges for product prices can range to some high figure costs. Your value must justify that.

Cons is that your not able to give your affiliates leverage to allow them to recruit people to promote for them. Essentially affiliates are similar to performance based employees that cannot hire other employees to recruit affiliates for them. Good affiliate marketers will outsource just about everything involved in the traffic and conversion process but still cannot recruit 100's to 1,000s of affiliates. That is how product owners get rich is by having thousands of affiliates.

For a network marketer you are also the performance based business owner but have the branding issues like affiliate marketers. Instead of every person you recruit being a performance based worker you recruit other performance based business owners.

That is where the beauty of network marketing shines through. So instead of product owners with limited affiliates its like product owners recruiting product owners. This is where it gets slightly confusing. The true person at the top for network marketing is the owner of the Network marketing company.

The comparison would be network marketers are like affiliate marketers with the ability to gather as many recruits to do the marketing for them. A product owner has their own brand the second they create the product. In network marketing like affiliate marketing you can create your own brand but you are still limited to promoting a product.

Big time marketers that create products either start with affiliate marketing or network marketing and then move into product creation and then do all of the above. I just wanted to give you a breakdown of some choices. You also have offline marketing as well. It will require you facing some fears like: Fear of rejection, fear of criticism, fear of uncertainty, fear of failure to really make a splash in offline marketing.

Make a choice in what you will do for the next several years and decide that you will be successful no matter what. There is tons of information on the Warrior Forum to help you.

Build a list and drive insane amounts of traffic to it on a daily basis. Be sure to get a website, find or create a product, and get an autoresponder to automate your email marketing. Good luck.

It's good that you have that mindset. But I must say: It doesn't come easy. Many people think that it's easy to make money online, but come on, nothing comes easy in life. You got to work hard.

So take action now, get a headstart, learn a long the way and never give up. You will go far for sure.

-set up a website

-set up a blog

-give away your free report to build list

-list your website on clickbank, paydotcom to recruit affiliates

-drive targeted traffic to your site (articles, blog post, video, free ebook....)

If you need some quick start-up cash, you can just go to fiverr and write some articles there. Being a native english speaking person will help you a lot.

I admire your drive but I would really focus on getting a job or something while you do this. Get a warrior membership and STAY ON THIS FORUM as much as you can and soak in as much as you can. I have learned more here and in the least amount of time than I ever could on my own surfing the net.

If you are low on cash you could either be an affiliate or research your butt off and decide to create a quality product. Write an ebook or a short report then create a WSO and get started that way. Remember too to pick a method and STICK to it since there are many ways to make money online and when the pressure to make cash is on you can be tempted to jump from one "Quick cash method" to another. Pick something that suits you and MASTER it.

Great thread as i think this emulates how a lot of people think, however it is very easy for people to say give up, i say never give up, i was over 40,000k in debt at one point and do you know what, i never worried and i never gave up.

I never worried because i always knew i was doing my very best in life and debt was due to trying to run an offline business through a bad economy as well as making sure there was food on the table for my family.

If you need some quick money to start with here are some ideas for you to help;

* Sign up in Fiverr, create gigs and promote what you are capable to do.

* create a book and sell it to Amazon kindle direct publishing.

* Promote your digital stuff (could be an ebook, video tutorials, software, you get the idea!) to clickbank, paydotcom, and other similar sites that let people become affiliate for your products.

As long as you never stop hustling and you always envision the end result, you'll make it my man. Study under Omar Martin. Focus on building a business and don't get distracted and buy every product that comes your way. Find one teacher, stick with them, do what they did, and you're set. Get a mentor immediately.

And yea, don't worry about college. I just dropped out a few weeks ago because I'm killing it online BECAUSE I GOT A MENTOR. Trust me man, screw investing money into a million products when you can invest it in someone who has made millions of dollars.

I agree with Benjamin - if you can afford it, find a good mentor and you'll cut YEARS off the time it takes to succeed online. Someone mentioned Omar Martin, and I'd second that. You may also want to consider Kenster (I'm currently in his Six Figure Alliance class, which is excellent), and Tony Shepherd, another well-respected marketer around here.

First of all I would recommend buying hosting and a domain out of your budget. The world is your oyster once you have these, I can't stress enough. Please bare in mind you will need to do keyword research before buying your domain. Google has a great tool you can use for free.

There are many options for you to take at this point but I'd like to mention PLR. Do some background research on this to see if it's somethng you're interested in. If so, there are many products you can buy for a small cost and repackage it as your own product.

Writing articles and submitting them to directorys are a fantastic way of generating traffic to your web page, along with press releases and social media networks.

Finding a mentor will speed up your learning curve, plan your day properly. To do lists written last thing at night and started first thing in the morning should stop you getting sidetracked,forget reading emails until your To Do List is finished.

Yes, I appreciate all of this I have the goal in mind and will update everyone on how the business going. Good news is that I found a job today and will get started soon.

If you become a big marketer one day, that line will be used against you.

Use your skills to earn extras. The internet can be your good resort.

If you are looking for fastest way to make money, try giving up service. Go to fiverr and post your ads there. Offer link building, blog comments or something similar that people are searching everyday. After you have some decent money, scale it up and use some for building other business.

At your age - I would really recommend that you go back to college if you can. You still have a long way to go - don't rush yourself.

Here's a practical advice basing on my personal experience. Starting your own business whether online or not takes time to pick up. That shouldn't be too much of a problem if you have enough to get you by during the rainy days but considering that you have a wife and kid it's tantamount to walking on really thin ice. Online you can either start your own business or ply your trade by "selling your skills" or you can do both. You can either write articles for someone, do internet marketing, SEO etc. This is also one great way of learning while earning and you can do this while you work on your own business. And, go to college. That's another perk that you get from working home you can do BOTH and other things!

Your first problem is thinking critically. You don't think you can just walk into a bank and steal enough to set you up do you? First, to rob a bank, you have to understand it takes a lot of money as an investment to get the right equipment, intelligence and information necessary to conduct the job. You'll also have to be planning the job for in excess of several months. Sometimes years.

If you can think like this, you will be successful.

I am all for building your own sites, and I have done it and made money, but when you are first starting out and you need money, especially to support your family, you need to offer a service because you can get paid upfront. Learn about IM by working for your colleagues. Just my two cents.

I recommend if you need cash now you should start some fiverr gigs or do paid writing assignments.

Other than that I think you need to just find something and stick it through to the end.

Find a specific target market (narrow not broad)
then find the need (be creative and look from several different angels)
Then seen how you can fill that need.

This sounds simple but really its going to take a lot of work and decisive decision making on your part
