WSO Sellers... Something To Think About

As a WSO Pro affiliate I sometimes have trouble getting in touch with product owners when a customer has a problem with accessing their download (for example) and contacts us.

Half of you guys have a support e-mail address or support ticket desk URL on your sales pages. THANK YOU

Half of you don't.

So we affiliates have to resort to PMing you... which sometimes don't get answered for days (and makes us look bad).

So if you would be so kind as to put your support details on your sales page so we can contact you, then I'm sure I'm not the only one would appreciate it as a WSO Pro affiliate.

Thanks!

Isn't there a rule that there must be some non-WF contact method on a WSO sales page, such as an email address or support desk?

Jason, although I understand your concerns, from a product vendors point of view I do not want to put my email address or support desk link in my WSO. The reason being is you end up with people sending emails or contacting your support desk pretending to be customers and trying to milk information out of you. They are quite clever in the way they do it. I learnt this the hard way and have since removed those details from my WSO. (yes, this forum attracts ALL types!)

I only want to give this information to my paid customers. If someone wants to contact me (pre-sale) they can do so via the WSO thread or via PM -- after all, that's what the WSO thread is for... pre sale questions and reviews. You then answer your after sale/technical questions via your email or support desk.

If a WSO vendor is not answering his PM messages for days then I would be questioning why you want to promote for this person anyway? This is the same way they are going to treat any customers you send over. People can come up with all types of excuses but it really is not that hard to check and answer your PM's once a day. Yes, I have been through periods where thousands of sales were coming in the space of only a few hours and I (by myself) managed to keep on top of all the support and PM's. It can be done if you want to do it. The problem is a lot people seem to launch WSO's and then go out for dinner or off on a holiday.

      Maybe there's another solution.

Like WSO Pro can allow affiliates to directly contact product sellers.

I think that would definitely be a good feature and maybe worth asking Mike about. The problem with that though is that it's not a universal solution, it only fixes things for one affiliate platform.

I think one of the best ways to do this is to make sure you get on top of launches a week or two before they happen. That way you can communicate with the vendor when things are still calm and get an email address or something for contact during launch.

A lot of the 'big' players now days seem to be doing prepunches a week or two out and have dedicated JV pages. Yes, it's starting to turn into a mini Clickbank.

You control which products you promote. Here's an idea....if they don't have any contact details on their site, don't promote them. Problem solved.

That's an option IF I want to leave thousands of dollars on the table

Which I'm not willing to do.

It's not too much to ask to have a way to contact product sellers to take care of customers.

That'd be a cool feature for warriorplus to integrate.. Guess it's something JVzoo will build first though
