Is this the slow season?

I was rolling along doing fine and now things have almost come to a halt. In adult webmastering, the summer is the slow season. Does mainstream internet marketing have a slow season?

    yea most definitely.

IM sales are always going up and down.

Some months are good and some months aren't good at all.

    It comes with the territory.

The best thing to do is have several different ways to make money in several different niches.

That way when things get slow for you in one niche you can always stay afloat in another.

The first quarter after the holidays is usually slow for everyone. Consumers are little tight-fisted when those holiday bills come.
That doesn't mean there isn't money to be made only that we have to work a bit harder to earn it.

It is slow season for many. However, my slow season is the busy season for retail. Most of my sites are insurance-related and many people postpone insurance decisions in order to shop for gifts.

My sales plummet during the holidays. The pent up demand is released during January and February so this is a good time of the year for me.

Other niches that might do during odd times of the year are certain business to business areas. Businesses that need to plan ahead for the summer may need to buy now. Retail businesses often need to buy or plan to buy stuff many months before they start offering to to their clients.

My job is within the shipping industry and this is around the time of year that things tend to slow down for us. The past couple of weeks or so haven't been quite as busy as normal. So it wouldn't surprise me at all if online sales have dipped.

Yes, I think there's always a slow season for everyone. Just thinking positive and keep going is the best thing one can do.

Yes I agree it seems slower after the holidays but it will pick up. People have to recover from their big spend for Christmas and the Valentine's day (for some).

No it should start to pick up next month. The best way to overcome the slow down is to aim for multiple streams of income.
