Help needed for traffic - Online Dating Manual

Hey Guys (and girls),

I recently created and started promoting my own product.

It’s an online dating guide on how to be more successful on dating websites.
It has an e-book, audio book version & video.

(product link: webseducer.com)

I currently have 1 traffic source, a dating website and it’s converting oké (around 2%).
Refund rate is about 5%.

I have difficulties with finding other traffic sources and it’s frustrating me.

This product has quite some potential and all help is appreciated.

I can link you to the product delivery page if that could help you.

I’m open to all suggestions... If your help is really valuable I don’t mind giving any remuneration for it (or profit split).

Thanks

Lorenzo

    Indeed a useful article.

However, doesn't really "solve" (I know there isn't a magic pill) my problem. :-)

    Thanks

I think it does help: you need more traffic sources plain-and-simple.

By your own admission you only have ONE. That's not going to cut it.

Either your post is about getting new traffic sources or having other people on this forum help you get traffic. I'm not sure which.

However, the easiest thing you can do is lift the weight yourself: it's not that hard to get free traffic to your site/product page. There's tons of men (and women) interested in getting "lucky" on online dating sites and will pay for "inside" tips or a plan on just how to do that.

This forum is FILLED with free tips and blueprints on where/how to get tons of free (and targeted) traffic. I'd utilize that if I were you.

If you have a converting product then you should move into paid traffic. Google ppc. If you have no clue on what to do then it is time you start learning ppc. While you are learning and implementing ppc start recruiting affiliates. If you have no clue on that start doing your research on how to recruit affiliates. Use google and search for keywords like how to recruit affiliates. Highly successful product owners have affiliates doing 80-99% of the work for them. So recruiting affiliates is your highest earning activity. In the meantime you will want to test paid media, ppc giving you the ability to get the most targeted traffic.

Try banner exchange, works good for starting off websites. Also, there are a lot of free press release site, there is a great list on Mashable - 20 best free press release submission sites.

Plenty Of fish ads seems like the obvious place to get some super targeted traffic for this kind of offer.

    How much is the guide?

I great way to go is to approach webmasters and offer a profit share in exchange for free advertising on their site. I have two dating niche websites that I would consider placing a banner on.

If you did this with 10 to 100 other sites the numbers can quickly add up.

      Ukcarl mentioned POF

      I agree with that one.

Also try putting your product on Click Bank.

You can also search google for forums that are related and try to drive some traffic that way.

      Hope this helps

Yeah that's a good idea, but where can you find such webmasters?

What 2 websites do you own?

      Thanks

that looks and smells like a very very similar product thats out and about, ? anyway there were some comments about using adwords with that / no way it would be slammed within days for not meeting requirements in its present shape.

I'd go with Plenty of Fish. You should run an affiliate program. Think about lowering the price too and optimizing your backend instead for upsells. The initial plunge of $60 is pretty steep in my opinion unless you have some sick social proof from other dating gurus.
