How do you throttle your emails on your Self-Hosted Autoresponders?
This question is for those of you running your own self-hosted autoresponders.
How many emails do you set to go out per minute / hour? I mean the autoresponder setting?
What kind of breaks do you give between batches? 5 mins? 10 mins?
Is there some kind of threshold that we should watch out for? I mean in terms email traffic / volume.
I'm talking about a dedicated server environment.
And I know... I know... some folks are going to say - why bother? Just use Email providers like Aweber & Get Response. Been there. Done that. Doing that.
I'm getting pretty decent opens and clicks on a Self hosted experiment and so, I just want to scale it up and see.
