There is plenty you can learn just by reading and applying advice in this forum. Make sure you follow people who actually are earning a decent living and are not just good "in theory".

I have to say I am a little worried that you are asking for help to make money and are advertising one on one coaching in your signature. Whats the deal with that?

Did you read the signature rules? You are ONLY allowed to put your own sites in your signature. Let a mod catch you doing that and you will be banned lickety split.

As for your request, do you mean you want someone to coach you personally for free to make money online?

The forum is packed with information on how to make money. It's up to you to read it and implement it. No one can do it for you unless you pay them.

Isn't this a two-way street? The other person is a War Room member as well, so she could post her own WSO.

Then she even had the audacity to comment in the OP's WSO. I'm not saying he's excused from wrongdoing, but let's remember that there is (at least) one other party involved here.

Shouldn't they BOTH be taking a short break?

were making a BIG mistake in the first place.

You can't get far along the road to success if you don't
eliminate severe errors in judgement first.

you'd still be deluded and continuing down the road to
failure.

You started this thread because you were looking for someone to help you.

Well, i think you've been given some pretty important advice here.

Why would you be happy to make bank from people buying something you're promoting that clearly has not made you any money?

Your lack of integrity will ensure that you continue to fail and you will earn yourself the reputation of being just another scammer trying to make a fast buck.

  I told you I've tried to help a number of people here but all but two thought this game was life on a plate, 2 had brains and are doing very well now. You decided to become one of the former. Sad but that's your problem.
  
  Good luck though and if you're already making money then do more of what you're already doing. Rise above the bashing and take it for what it's worth. Sometimes a good grab around the collar and a slap is what people need. Not saying you do but you need to realise there are a lot of very smart people here that can see through nonsense.

My question is, if you have a friend who is doing coaching, then why are you not asking your friend for help and pay the $250 later. If this is your friend surely they will help you out.

Another thing, what you did is really bad and misleading to us newbies. I myself am looking into getting a coach. Now after this I don't know what to believe in anymore. You should be ashamed of yourself.

You are spoiling the reputation of some good genuine coaches out there.

Well, you'll stop selling stuff you can't actually endorse, so you'll be ahead of most IM gurus there.

Now it's just learning some fundamentals that you can sell. If you're completely new, check out some of the free resources - my nephew is listening to the Ilovemarketing.com podcasts while he's playing GTA; by now he probably understands more about marketing than some of the professionales out there, without any real effort.

Once you've learned the basics, there's really no one way to make money.

Focusing on one strategy (e.g., I'll get you 50 local customers via X) for small clients should be an easy start - they've already got a product, so you only have to get people through the door, as opposed to start a website, come up with a mee-too product (which will typically be horrible) and hard-sell folks into buying.
Better stay ethical (and lazy) by using what's already around - there are tons of businesses in need of better advertising, you just have to make an offer that's attractive to them. Listen to the "cheese and whiskers" episode of ILM for some tips on how to do that.

I remember back when i first started, i worked 16 hr days to make this work for my family, i ended up in 40k of debt, but in the end i made it, not once did i try to sell some heap of BS on anyone

I now love my career, myself and my wife Elaine have both worked very hard to get where we are today

My point here is, if it was not for people like you pushing false dreams onto people back in the days when i started then i would have cracked this game sooner, saving myself and my family a whole load of stress

So next time you think this internet marketing game is all about spinning some false dream to people to make a quick buck for yourself then it would be wise to spare a thought for those very same people who you may well be just adding to their misery

Think more about your customers than what you can make or you will fall flat on your face trust me

Do you know we have made many friends in this industry from people who started of as prospects

Make friends not enemies, because the world is a big place, but not that big, and you are only as good as your last sale

Hopefully you have learned a lesson that these people are here to help, not to be fooled
