will someone pay someone to search on web?

I have this cray idea in the morning and i am constantly thinking about it. The idea is it is so hard to get results from goole and other search engine. I have seen my aunt searching through thousands of listings . So , what if i search for them and charge like $2 or $4.

Its like justanswer.com where people pay for answers and i have seen they give people like $200 for answer. However , in my site people can submit general queries. Here are my questions warriors.

1) Am i alone warrior with this idea? Any competitors around?

2)Which keywords should i target? I have several keywords like "search help". "Live search help"etc. etc . Now search help keyword got 27k searches in january month in google . However in yahoo no big searches. I set the campaign in yahoo and still got no clicks. So, which keywords should i target?

Thanks

it is not a bad idea for getting answer. however, there are problems: the "best answer" to you may not be the best answer to others. and this is always the case.

another thing is: people like free answers, do not like pay for it. that's one fo the most important reason why google answer lost to yahoo answer.

    good luck

Not necessarily true. I'm a level 4 expert in two veterinary topics on justanswer, and I can easily bring in US$500 a month working very part time indeed. When you look at the current exchange rate with the Aussie dollar, it's not a bad bit of coin for the amount of time I put in.

I guess it'd depend on the topic, but with such areas as mine, I'd rather pay for an answer than rely on a freebie from someone with uncertain qualifications.

As far as paying for searches, it could work if your clients were specific about what they wanted. Do they want to know who is the competition for their product? Do they want blogs or forums that specifically relate to their niche?

Just another form of outsourcing, isn't it? Unless I'm reading it wrongly.

Audrey you are damn right, this is just another type of outsourcing. I was thinking if this idea clicks , then i will rather offer clients some CPA offers rather charging them anything. This way it will be free service to them. What you think?

I'm kinda confuse, you want to do a service to search in search engines for people that want to search something that they didn't find?

This might be a good idea if you focus on a niche, create a targeted search like "diet search engine" and fill the page with ads or affiliate products.

yep you are right. Problem is proper keywords. Where people vent out their search engine frustration? any forum or something? where i could advertise.

yeah, I m not really much sure about it but people are always attracted to free stuffs. And charging them for search answers they might find not so helpful could bring a bad message for the site you are trying to promote..
