Game & App Copyright? Patent? Which one?

My husband is creating a educational "game" that will be downloadable, then an app. We are confused on how to protect this idea and content.

Not sure if we patent or copyright?

He is starting his research now, but figured I would ask the question here to get some feedback

  • Yes, video games can be copyrighted.
    If you really feel that you are going to take off with this game, I would suggest contact a lawyer. Although there are some great members on here, you will get conflicting answers.
