Facebook Marketing. Spcific Question

I notice that when I log into FB, in the top right hand side there are two sponsored links. At a local level how do I tap into this and market using these ads? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Freemen14

Whatever ads you are shown its due to demographics. Facebook uses it to advertise. Say for example, if an advertiser is using Facebook for the advertisement of his products and he wants to target the age group between 21 to 25 and if you come in this age group, you will be shown the ads. There is no harm in that. I think you must have gotten your answer.

Well, the ads are targeted based upon your profile details, your likes and interests.

If some one is a nirvana fan, he will see advertisements of rock bands/albums mostly unless the advertiser is not targetting specifically rock bands!!
I hope U got the point!!
