buying facebook likes off fiverr.com

people are selling fan likes on fiverr.com

is this some kind of software? are they generating fake profiles and then sending them to your page?

Is there any where that I can can genuinely outsource some real human fans to my page?

Chances are they're probably using a site like YouLikeHits.com....they're "real" in the sense that they are people with real profiles who swap likes and followers on those websites. Not real in the sense that they aren't targeted and probably won't be very responsive.

If you're using this to boost your SEO though, there's nothing wrong with it.

i am not convinced that the profiles are real, they are all girls nearly, they all have a similar kind of look about them like all the pics were by the smae photographer and why cant i add them or message them?

I agree with MarketingChad, if the purpose of these likes was for SEO then I wouldn't be too concerned.

Perhaps next time go with a different provider on Fiverr.

        I know there is a website paywithatweet.com

Your users can decide if they want to pay with a tweet on Twitter or with a post on their Facebook wall to tell all their friends about you, your product and your brand.

There are literally dozens of these sites. You basically "like" other account holders stuff and in turn you earn credits which you can "spend" to get your own stuff liked. Not saying all the accounts are real, in fact it is spammed a lot these days. There is software on this very forum to automate the process and earn you a mass of credits. People are creating multiple accounts and selling it on fiverr as a service. They are selling you the use of their credits. Whether or not you're getting "real" accounts is debatable but there are going to be some for sure.

You will never be successful trying to build a business via fraud.

Even if you did somehow break through the fraud barrier and attained some kind of success, the FTC and other governing agencies would be able to see your posts here admitting that you committed fraud.

A "like" is obviously a customer testimonial. Customer testimonials can't be purchased or incentivized without disclosure. If disclosed, they are worthless. Nobody cares that people "liked" you because you paid $5 for them to like you. If not disclosed, you are committing fraud.

Why not spend your time building a business without fraud? It is more effective and you won't have it all taken away with FTC fines and jail time.

You can't buy that on Fiverr.

Think about it, the person who is doing the work only gets $4 really, they just use software to add people. Even if they are real people, you'll find almost all of them are also friends with various other 'starter' FB pages which quickly gives way that they've been bought.

If you want targeted, interested followers, you'll need to do the work yourself or hire a social media expert (for more then $5).

thats right you get what you pay for! i use fiver services and similar like youhit but i think the best conversation i found it on Buy Facebook Fans/Likes - Get 200 Likes for $12.99 or Your Money Back they have low prices and they deliver targeted usa likes! i use it to increase my sales throught a fan page!

Never buy likes or +1s on Fiverr. It's not worth it.

Don't try to find a trick to get those 800 likes. It's not about the highest number. You can be more successful if you have only 20 likes, but real targeted likes from people who appreciate what you do.

I hope that you won't do it again, but it's up to you.

I wouldn't do it - it's not really a good long term strategy to start a business fraudulently. Also, these "likes" are most likely from fake Facebook accounts so they're probably useless anyway.

you cannot 100s of fans for $5. you can only use them to make your page look good. Try using a fan exchange site you will get real fans from there.

I avoid these like the plague!

Personally, I would rather have niche targeted likes or followers for either my facebook or twitter accounts.

That way I know that I will have a more responsive following to my marketing campaigns and more opt-ins to my list.

This idea, which has been stated in this forum many times, is shallow and even counterproductive.

Think about it. So you get 25 or 100 likes for your much-vaunted social proof. If you can't get those likes on your own through the strength and relevance of your content, you're not going to be able to retain real human visitors. Likes aren't permanent. They can be revoked.

"It's only $5, so why not?" The reason why you don't want to do this is you'll never learn how to attract the right kind of people to market to.

People try to use the fast way to get likes, I mean use software to create fake profiles to get more fans but they forget that this is gonna hurt their business. Probably get banned or never reach the right potential customers to market o them.

It's simple: They just use a software/bot to create hundreds of FB accounts using different proxies, which then automatically log-in and 'like' your page. He probably leeched the images for the profile pictures.

For sure they are fake profiles...There are many websites now doing exchange fans which let people to like different pages in order to get likes for their pages..So basically they create profiles & like pages using robots then they can redeem their point for your fan page likes...

In order to get real human likes you may use facebook advertising only or use a kind of clickjacking in systems like adfly which is illegal & not a professional act.

Most of the cheap sellers at fiverr are providing fake fans. However there may be very few sellers who provide real ones. Some providers are also posting at BHW and DP forums and guarantee real fans only.

Another good reason to buy likes, YouTube subscribers is for social proof...if you are launching a Facebook page that is truly built to have a following, interaction, etc...you look like a real dork when you have 2 people who have liked your page...getting 10,000+ likes to a powerfully built page BEFORE you launch will give you social proof after you launch.

I have never been on facebook, so don't know what they hype is all about. But doesn't it seem a bit fake, when you can BUY likes? Who is to say what is a good facebook page and what isn't when you have fake facebook likes?

Watched a video of a guy on you-tube who was talking about facebook and twitter...it was funny because he was going on about how "who cares if the new event is getting a new phone"

now I am not on twitter or facebook either, but apparently people tweet or facebook about every little move they make. I actually have 1 friend (well I have more than 1 friend LOL) but i have a friend with a facebook account, I haven't been on it, but I get e-mails when she posts something new...like a picture or something...seems like a waste of time...but that is just my opinion..LOL

    Hi there,

I've heard back from a number of friends who have bought 'facebook likes', and the end verdict is...

The number count was there as promised, but there was little to no actual CONNECTION or conversation happening on the actual fan page itself.

In other words, the fan page had '10k fans', but they were inactive, ie: no likes on posts, and no comments, which = no fun, and essentially no business model that way.

    Here's what I suggest:

    1) Create a main blog using WP, with the facebook plugin to embed your fan page. This way people can join your fanpage right away through your site. (If you don't know how to do this there are always free YouTube video's out there to help you, or outsource it).

    2) Provide 400-500 word unique, quality articles every week. (Include one main keyword in the title, and use the same keyword in the body about 2-3 times only).

    3) Create a Youtube account. Create multiple short videos, giving away good content, and link back to your blog in the description (using http://"your site name here").

    4) Always encourage your readers to 'click like' on your fan page. Make it exciting. Give them a reason: giveaways, special bonuses, vip enchantments before anyone else, etc.).

    5) Lastly, take action. Don't get overwealmed. Think in the moment. Do one small step at a time.

Stick to these basic principals and I'm sure you'll do great!

Some of the Fiverr deals are quite good depending on your skillset, but grabbing 1000's of Likes for $5 would seem fishy me thinks, but if you need it to fluff your account then by all means it's only $5.

What you might want to do is find fiverr gigs where the person is active on Facebook and already has real fans. These gigs will not promise likes. They will only promise to share or recommend that their fans like your page.

I've bought the service once for a friend's website and I found that the accounts besides user names and photos all were the same. They all followed the same links and had no activity besides that. Obviously bots.

The only reason you would want to get that many followers quick is if you need a vanity url for your page. Other than that, I would avoid them!

I have used the service of a few people just to get the vanity name for a hot niche. So I usually have used the service when the person only gives you about 25 - 30 likes.

Most have been real users who have commented on the pages and passed them on to their friends. Looks like you have to just find the real providers of likes. I wouldn't use Fiverr for creating hundreds of likes in short time. It would make you look like shady business entity.

I use fiverr quite a lot. If they state the fans are real humans, then it will be a site similar to twiends, where people can like pages to get likes on their own, even though a real human liked your page, they probably won't view it or ever look at it again. Other sellers have lots of bot accounts on facebook and have a program to send 1000 of their bot accounts to like a certain page.

These kind of services from fiverr and spammy and could hurt your social media profile/signals and website SEO.

Hi I agree and used to sell this as a service. I'm not saying all but many provide forced likes via programs that do likes-jacking and there are bots that can create thousands of fake accounts that are updated only by software. This is what the many cheap providers are using to get you likes/fans on fb pages.
So be careful especially on fiverr.com I wouldn't personally get any from there if your after real results it only adds numbers and what use is that, go for quality, do things the white hat way and it will pay off.

Waste of time! Any of the social gigs on Fiverr tend to be bot generated meaning they will be non responsive and there solely for looks. If you need actual members it will be up to you to find a target audience.

    Not a cool idea.

It is not like you are buying targeted traffic with a solo ad.

Moreover, people 'liking' you doesn't mean they gonna buy from you. Not the ones you will get from fiverr anyway.

Why do you want to do that?

To increase your 'like count' on your fan page or blog? Enhance social proof?

Your effort & imagination will pay off way better if you focus on creating great content (or products) & building a list.

And the end result of it all - not only more likes, but you will end up having great content to create your own products as well as the Holy Grail itself - a list!

Or do you want to outsource product creation & list building to someone on fiverr as well?

watch out when using fiverr they typically have very cheap prices because they use bots. You should try to find a reliable supplier

You get what you pay for on fiverr, I have had some sellers on fiverr provide an account with likes. end result is I lost that account(1 of 23), but still hurts. I have found that using different services works very well for me.

ya it's like swap likes between 2 site, if you like someone, somebody will like you. You can try YouLikeHits - Free Facebook Likes, Twitter Followers, YouTube Subscribers, Website Hits this, if you regular first couple of days you will get 100 points everyday for free. 100 points means at least 10 likes per day. You can also select the targeted countries where you want to get likes.

It is something to be careful of, but not entirely taboo. There is some value in getting your numbers for your 'real' audience, but without the interest/value it won't help.

I do know that some companies hire people to make and maintain dummy Facebook accounts. These accounts, even if dummy accounts, are maintained well because they are updated regularly like a normal Facebook owner does - post messages, respond to friend requests, post pictures etc. So just be careful because many of the links that can be acquired thru Fiverr are not quality links at all.

Its better to use places like youlikhits.com only if your fanpage talk about getting fans or have a cool product which attract others. People at youlikehits looking for more like and if your page showing them something which they never heard of before you have better chances of getting sales. This stretegy paid me $500 nearly but was time consuming.

    Hi,

Buying the facebook 'like' is not the real marketing strategy. The most important thing is that you must provide useful/ informative content in order to generate real people like.

Just imagine a fanpage with 5000+ like but less than 5 people respond on each post from page admin. What an insult!

    Cheers,

In most cases you are probably right, but only the seller knows his method. It depends on the seller, if he uses bots or websites mentioned by you. Anyway, it is not a good method of getting facebook likes. It only works, if you want to create an illusion that your facebook profile has some reputation (fake reputation). In the end your likes are useless. There are many other ways of getting REAL facebook likes.
