I would test it out with a site that's not yet very valuable to you. If the site you plan on using it on already is starting to do well, I wouldn't risk it on potentially spammy links. Bottom-line is I like to test everything myself. $5 really isn't that much.

Can't hurt, for less than a burger & fries.

They shouldn't ever penalize you for stuff not on your site where you have no control. Outbound links to bad neighborhoods and crappy content can hurt big time.

    Give it a shot.

One doesn't discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.

    • The best idea would be to avoid it completely but if you want to try it, Mosa is on the right track.

Be aware that "unique articles" in the Fiverr universe these days means they steal articles and encode them with stop words to make YOU think they're unique. But they're not.

It could also mean spun articles but I think the seller would have said that.

Let us know how it turns out.

I think this is the same person offering this fiverr gig that I was writing articles for. I was writing articles for him and he was spinning them into hundreds of articles.

If it is the same person his fiverr service is brilliant with the two tier backlinks pyramid he creates.

If Google really will penalize you for it, buy 10 of the gigs and point the links at your competitors.

I ordered a linkwheel gig for one of my websites and it didn't help at all. It's been like three weeks and I still haven't seen any improvement on my site's rankings. I ordered from a real popular seller and ordered the double link wheel with 12 web 2.0 and 3000 links to each. Nothing happened. The gig had great feedback so I was excited about it.

You shouldn't be punished for this. If it really does what it states, you should only have 9-14 links actually pointing at your site. As a matter of fact, I might give it a try on one of my under-performing sites just to see what happens. Thanks for the heads up. A couple of months ago I tried a similar gig and didn't get any results. Maybe this one will be different.

Any unnatural link building such as a link wheel you always run the chance of getting your site sand boxed but it does take a lot. For 4 bucks though don't expect the first page for your blog post or article. It might help but the only way to tell is to order and see if you have any increase in traffic and where its coming from. Most backlinks hold no PR weight so they are nearly worthless.

Your site isnt going to get hurt by using that service. He isnt creating enough links for it to do any damage. I've blasted brand new sites and older sites with thousands and thousands of links and its only done good. Its all in, how you do it and what kind of links they are.

I would steer away from blasting mass blog comments and profile links, but I've never seen a site penalized from article marketing as first tier backlinks. I use article marketing everyday and offer it myself. You would have to buy multiple gigs from different people alot of times but you can create your own link wheels on a much larger scale by buying good services individualy. Have someone create you an article and submit it using amr, or to a blog network. If you can get a report then build, blog comments to those links etc.

Just my limited experience with these kind of offers, the links mostly never get indexed.

You never know until you try. Some Fiverr gigs seem like they would be horrible, but they have a lot of good reviews, and if you try them, they're actually very good. The opposite can be true. The gig can seem super, but you try it out and it's awful. It's pretty hit or miss on Fiverr. But it's only $5 to experiment, and once you find some really good gigs, star them, so they're in your profile and you can always go back and use them again easily.

I can bet you that the articles are not going to be unique.

It better to write an article yourself (and in spin syntax) and then provide that gig seller this article and say him to use that. This way, you are completely on the safe side.

Also Do checkout, in the gig description, that he provides full report or not.

      Cassidy, this is incorrect.

Google has recently started penalizing for inbound links. It is a lot more efficient than ignoring them for getting rid of spammers.

      Buyer beware.

      I agree.

Who is going to write all those "unique" articles for only 5 dollars anyways? They are spun PLR, but probably won't hurt your rankings.

      Give it a shot.

I just wanted to post an update. Don't order this gig. I received my report today and checked the first 5 links and the articles were horrible. They made no sense at all and had so many grammatical errors that I would be embarrassed to be associated with them. Eek! I want my backlinks removed asap so these don't harm my site. I wrote this to the person:

"Thanks for delivering on time. I have a few issues, however, with the articles written. They do not make sense and are not grammatically correct. I do not want backlinks associated with them. Can you all of the articles? If not, then please remove all backlinks for me and send refund. I appreciate you working this out with me.
    Thank you,
    Jen"

I'll let you know the response. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?

Here are a couple of lines written.

"It genuinely pays to devote time seeking the instantly tiles at the straight charge. "

"It doesn't suggest whilst that you automatically have remarkably restricted options with your compact area. "

    What!?

The person said that the articles were not made for humans, but for search engines, which I don't want. What should I do? Ask again to have the backlinks removed?
