Don't get me wrong... this isn't hating on frank kern. Respect the guy.

But this is just him filming the last few hours of his launch.

What he should film is the legwork that goes into getting the launch up to that point.

Plus the years building the skill and reputation to do such a thing.

Now if a random of the street was filmed and happened to make a million by noon then I'd be in shock.

I agree! I totally respect the guy, he's done some pretty amazing things. But he definitely uses A LOT of marketing psychology to build up his brand. He's obviously done well for himself but 99.9% of people couldn't do this if they tried. At least not in the way he makes it seem.

I probably look like a jerk hater, but I'm just messing around.

        That's quite an accomplishment.

        I'm just sayin...

A good sales process and an army of JV partners and affiliates doesn't really personally impress me anymore.

The guys who impress me are the ones who can make big money fast while relying completely on their own skills and relying on no one else. (like this guy who does $50k a day without relying on anyone but himself Super Affiliate Rockstar Secret Blog)

I mean... let's see you make a million fast on your own dime outside of the internet marketing niche without JV partners.

Not to discredit anyone... and my opinion doesn't really matter at all...

But it don't impress me much.

It's just playing the launch game at a super high level.

        It's not marketing in-the-trenches.

I don't know... who cares what I think lol...

I was very unimpressed. They made many mistakes that were obvious. Plus it's not a good idea to put yourself and your process on video for the world to see. Frank has already had enough problems with the FTC. I'd keep my mouth shut and make money behind the scenes.

As a marketing person it's fun to see what really happens during these launches, but from a customers point of view all I see is Greed.

What we need to do is separate the process from the event.

The event is captured in those videos. A few hours where Kern makes a ton of money. Good for him.

The process is all the hard work/smart strategy that leads up to the event.

It helps Frank to just show the event (giving his customers the impression that he does this stuff effortlessly). He really has branded himself as the easy going guy that happened upon millions (again, not a hater, respect the guy).

The problem with all these high-end 'guru' launches is, by the time you take out all the costs, time, refunds, affiliate commissions, etc you don't end up with anything near the figure you are quoting.

I'm not saying they shouldn't do it but I also don't want people to get the wrong idea.

I know a guy who did a launch and made over 1 Million gross in about 7 days.

After all affiliates, refunds, product development he made less than $300,000 for about 3 months of very hard work. Still nice money but not all it's cracked up to be.

After he paid Federal, State and local taxes he cleared less than $200,000.

Exactly. In a launch like the one in the videos above they would then have to split what's left over between all the people who have been working on that launch for months and months and then you get all the people who took the payment option and end up pulling out after the first or second payment.

Firstly, well done to your friend. 200 grand is nothing to sneeze at.

Secondly, we are only looking at the money and missing the other benefits of the launch.

This guy would now have happy affiliates, increased exposure in his niche and most likely a list of high paying customers (he can reciprocate and promote other launches... working a hell of a lot less).

        Good for him.

I couldn't agree more, but at the same time, I am absolutely intrigued by how Frank can show you how to manipulate a person's thinking about buying your product all the while manipulating your mind to buy HIS product.

It's genius and it's what the world's greatest dictators use for evil. It's called mind control... and you can buy it here... http://

Here's what is not in the video of "The Magic Bullet" project ...

    - The subsequent lawsuit by Microsoft against Amish Shah and Jay Styles.

    - Legal fees and liability exposure that swamps anything made from the launch.

    - Frank Kern thanking his lucky stars as he could have easily been named a co-defendant.

    - Frank dipping deep into his basket of lucky stars and thankfully avoiding a class action lawsuit by everyone scammed by this garbage.

(Wasn't anyone else paying attention to the actual numbers and dates being shown for the claimed CPA earnings? Or have their own concern about abusing Microsoft's trademarks?)

Frank makes it look simple. He has been perfecting his craft for years, more than 10+ in IM. He has paid tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands to mentors like Dan Kennedy.

First thing DK will teach you is to "get your head screwed on straight." Your mindset, your paradigm. This is what stops all of us from acheiving our goals.

If you want to make Millions, even Billions, fix your brain. If you can do that the world is your oyster.

Okay I'm not familiar with what's happened since then, explain how you can put something into a video that's happened after the launch? Can you find me a time machine to go forward in time, grab something from the future, then come back to the present and slap it in there?

Sure, Richard, when - after the launch - you create a video and select certain pre-launch footage to include in your story about making a million bucks, to avoid creating a starry-eyed impression of how awesome this was you also note (1) the lawsuit, (2) legal exposures, (3) and, ahem, how many buyers were quickly shut-down by cease and desist letters from Microsoft and if anyone actually made money from "The Magic Bullet."

Pretty hard to fathom ... the time warp that allows someone, for example, in 2012 to make a video about the 1968 Olympics and being able to include information occurring after 1968.

There are good marketing lessons in the video.

There are also good lessons about treating your business as a business so you don't get sued.

        Anyway, welcome to the forum.

        Of course he can't.

I think his point was that the title of the thread is...

Watch Frank Kern Make $1,000,000 in under a couple of Hours!!!
...and although he does that on the video, it's pretty obvious the OP didn't realise what came after.

I'm pretty certain Brian was just painting a fuller picture for the OP, it's not a rant against Frank.

The video is just that, a video. Franks hardly going to make a video called "How I made a million bucks then almost got screwed by Microsoft" is he?

He lost his trousers to the FTC years before the launch in a different pyramid scheme matter.

Don't misinterpret something - I am a fan of Frank Kern, am very impressed by this post-FTC issue revival, and have bought several of his products.

But I am surprised he made and released this video. Given the litigation I wouldn't have touched it.

On the other hand, Frank has carefully avoided promoting some other "guru" launches, despite the so-called 'syndicate.'

There's a couple other active threads about someone who made a lot more than Frank - and now has nothing due to legal issues.

Assuming Microsoft's attorneys saw this video, and I doubt they have, "pretty pumping" is probably not how they would describe it as the OP did.

If you make a million bucks, then have to pay it out due to legal problems, did you really make a million bucks?

You guys/gals are blinded by the thought of making a million bucks.

You're letting your emotions take over the pocket book.

Frank Kern in my opinion a shyster, someone who does not play honest.

He tells you what you want to hear, and you believe it by giving him your money.

Frank has been in a lot of hot heat there is a reason for that, not a honest man to deal with.

Stop thinking with your emotions and start using common sense.

Even though I still consider myself a "newbie" after years of skulking and not taking action, I can still see through the gimmicks that are being used over and over by the "big" gurus. All you have to do is spend a lot of money on them to be able to start knowing what they really are all about.

What would REALLY impress me would be if Mikal (or any newbie) were to take that course and make a million dollars using their OWN resources... not Frank's massive army of affiliates or huge infrastructure. Heck I'd be impressed if you could make a million dollars in a 30 days let alone a couple of hours. And if it was that easy... why hasn't anyone chimed in and said "I took the course and here I am a millionaire" on here?

No doubt that Frank Kern is one of the best gurus in the net such as Mike Filsaime, Joel Comm.

But it's impossible for normal people to make that amount of money in this short period.

And that belief is holding you back. What you don't realize is that Frank Kern IS a normal guy. He puts on his underwear the same way you and I do (at least, I think so....lol).

      But seriously........

What you rarely hear or read about is all the failures that Frank has had over the years before he became a raging success, including his run in with the FTC which he has talked about in public many times.

Like him or dislike him or even hate him, the guy is very good at what he does. I'm a bit biased toward Frank, because 2 of his products have helped put a s-load of money into my pocket. Frank was one of the first marketers (I hate the term "guru" as it really means squat) who let me take a look at the Wizard behind the curtain, him and Ed Dale, and really helped me connect the dots.

If you really think you cannot replicate his success, then that's going to be your reality. When I went to my first Frank Kern seminar and saw him break down one of his methods, step-by-step, I thought to myself, "S**t, I can do that!"

That was over 5 years ago and I haven't looked back. Frank isn't the only marketer whom I've followed, but he's one of the few, who really allowed my business to grow faster than I ever thought possible. But I understand why haters hate since we all have our own personal experiences with these well-known marketers.

But in my book, Frank Kern is one of the good guys and my business has been better because of his influence. Sheesh, I met another marketer the other day who told me he hated Seth Godin. Whaaaat? How can anyone dislike that guy? But it reminded the reality of the world we live in. If you're a public figure in anyway, it's evitable that some people are not going to like you. It's impossible to resonate with everybody.

This doesn't mean I agree with everything Frank does, I most certainly don't, but I do watch what he does and apply it to my own way of doing things.

        I'd like to think so.

Especially if he lost his trousers earlier on, as Brian explains.

Frank is a great pitch man. He knows what to say, how to say it and when to say it. I am on his email list but his emails automatically are sent to the "Kern" folder and I rarely read them anymore.

So whether you love'm or don't love'm he is good at what he does.

So, there hasn't been much mentioned about the underlying product. Did it have some value? How many refunds were given? I have seen a few posts saying they have little or no customer service.

Somewhere along the line it was said these guys were supposedly making 5 fig a month doing CPA and they didn't really need to do the product, has that been substantiated?

Thanks for posting...I have Frank's mass control dvd's and they are great to watch once in a while...his style of copywriting is the most effective I have ever seen/used...ie it sounds like your friend is sending you an email to recommend something instead of a guy with slicked back hair with a sales script.

  • Frank Kern is a man with an undeniable wit and charisma, and he certainly exploits that to the full extent.

While I might not agree with some specifics (he shows the "easy", "fun" and "laid back" part of this business, but hides the hundreds of hours of hard work you gotta put in)... but you gotta admit that the man is a brilliant marketer and speaker, and the way he connects with his audience in such a casual way is simply genius.

Like him or hate him, but you gotta respect his skills.

well if anyone has a big bunch of lists and affiliates and JV's then even a newbie can make 100K in a couple of minutes. They don't show you how to get them all they show is figures to establish their "brand" name in the Industry.

      So is life.

Some people can do it for themselves, others have agents/managers. You know that Frank Sinatra's agent used to pay ladies to scream at his concerts back in his early days, (delanceyplace.com 2/25/11 - swooning teenage girls). We've come a long way in 70 years.

And just think how some really bad pop stars (manufactured boy bands and girl groups, for example) get such strong marketing backing that they make it over people with talent.

And so will life always be. Objectivity does not exist.

Frank Kern does bring a lot of value to the table....I won't post them here but let me suggest going to YouTube and watch some of his other videos that are jam packed with great information.....Start with the ones that are over 30 minutes. Lots of good ones there!

Instead of salivating over how much money he's made, start to emulate his thinking and processes from these videos into your business which will do wonders!

    P.S. Start with Core Influence....

Lol! Who said that's a push button and instant millions? Even a dog will know that their is a HUGE work behind the scenes, it's a tough work. If not for his JV Manager and JV's and affiliates, he won't make that money.

A lot of people insecure or get jealous (not referring to you coach) because of his relax and laid back attitude. Then after few emails, he makes $1M in an hour. Push button and instant millions? A dream? Hell yeah.

      But gotta love the guy.
