Amazon Associate ID working or not?

Hi

How do I know if my amazon associate ID is working or not. Coz I can see I have some clicks in the anazon report. So if someone is buying and I am not getting any commission but the clicks. Is there a way to check?

Regards
AJ

Log into your Amazon Affiliates account.
Rest your mouse over the "Links/Banners" tab.
Scroll down and click on "Link Checker".

You can test your link there to see if it is working.

    Hope this helps.

If you are seeing clicks, your ID is working. You need traffic. A handful of clicks is usually not going to cut it. The sites we build generally receive no fewer than 100 clicks per day. Once you get to that level, you should see consistent sales.

      Hi

Good information. Next I am going to try to get 100 visitors per day. If you have any tips please feel free to share with me.

First, and foremost, you need to target products/keywords you can rank for. I think this is where many people fall down. Once you have that down, you have to have good content.

The sites I build generally start ranking very well for target keywords within a month. After that, new products that I post are generally indexed and ranked on page 1 within minutes.

Glad you got it figured out.

Also if you make any links manually be sure to include the country code on the end or you will not get credit. For the US it is -20....example...AmazonaffiliateID-20.
