You ever get frustrated?

The bills...they just...keep on coming, never stopping, never taking a break. And that means one has to make money, otherwise they don't get payed, so this really hinders the creative juices :\ unless you're already making good income and have free time, everything you do is forced to having being related to making money, at all times, until the bills are covered and to be honest that sucks Makes it even harder when others are depending on you, lot of stress. And to be honest I don't even like money, I think it's dirty, the only reason I want it is because of what it can do. So you guys who've reached the point where only a couple hours of work a day or a week...are needed, my hats off to you. As that leaves a lot of time to actually enjoy life with the family, not to mention more time to work on things more enjoyable and creative.

Sounds to me like you're giving up on the dream! You're conceding to that life of mediocrity, living life paycheck to paycheck?

    Ridiculous, sickening work ethic.

That's all you need. Don't give up. Get out there and do it.

Agreed. I have days where I feel like I'm struggling, but I always try to remind myself that if I just keep taking massive action I have to get results.

I try to think of it as a game. Keep it fun. Don't take life too seriously.

When I see Obama's picture on the internet I get frustrated. I am full time into internet marketing.

Millions of people worldwide have high blood pressure when Obama appears in media.

I have been in your shoes.

When I first took the plunge into working for commissions, instead of a wage I struggled.

This was back when I first became a financial advisor (prior to that I worked in a warehouse). I used to do cold calling to get clients and frankly.... It took a lot of courage to keep picking up the phone after every time someone didn't pick up.. or didn't care to talk to me... or flat out told me off for calling.

It wasn't easy knocking on people's doors and having them peak out of the window and look at me in my business suit, then not answer...

It was no walk in the park when I'd go to an event (and pay to set up a booth) and walk away with some leads.. none of which ever turned into a client...

But you know what? I kept at it. It sucked a lot, and I did honestly consider giving up and driving a forklift again.

Eventually I saw my results improve.

I tried new ways of approaching people. I used different words and language styles when talking to people. I knocked on doors at different times of the day. I started partnering with other professionals to offer a fuller suite of services...

My point is this: Keep at it. Success will come if you apply everything you know, learn from your mistakes, and take a chance on yourself.

Each day you're one step closer to being there... but if you give up now, you've failed. Most devastating of all is that to give up now means you've wasted your time.

You can do this. Life doesn't improve in a linear fashion.

Sometimes we have to feel pain before we can feel pleasure. Ever been to the gym? haha..

      Cheers,
      -Adrian

Don't complain about it. Channel your frustration into action.

When I first read that, it got me fired up and I was ready to write a response back telling you off. But the truth is though... you're right, complaining won't fix anything, not my style anyway, just haven't slept yet so am out of it. Hard work and intelligent action gets it done.

I was kind of expecting you to come back at me. I'm glad you were able to see through the blunt way in which I said that, because what I said was important.

Find an inspiration. Find a motivation. And work hard. If you get 2 hours sleep a night, so long as you're working hard it isn't important. If you want to make some cash, if you want to make it easier on your family, you won't find a better time to act than now.

I'm sure most of us have been on the same highliner as you. It's only natural to get frustrated. There is so much to learn, you get bits of this and bits of that. You make 3 sales and one of them is a refund.

You just can't figure this thing out, you want to give up, you want to cry. Take some deep breaths to slow yourself down. Just repeat to yourself I will get it, I can do this, I know I can, but you must believe it, you must have an emotional tie when you affirm yourself. persistance is the number skill of success. I know I can, I know I can...

Cashtree - take a deep breath and dig in. It's easy to be average. If it wasn't easy then everyone would have Six Pack Abs and a Ferrari. What separates the winners from the loser is the ability to push through the pain.

I don't care what you use as fuel, but use something. Anger, a sick parent that you want to help, jealousy....what ever it is, channel it into blind ambition and keep going until you win. You don't fail until you quit!

    Good Luck

I get incredibly frustrated. Some days it seems like this whole thing is never going to work or be worth it. But you know what? If you made the decision to get into IM and are sure you made the right decision, then you can't give up. There are a lot of pitfalls and rough times, but I know that the prize at the end of the road is way worth it, because I never ever ever want to work for anyone or for any kind of wage.
    Just believe in yourself.
