Anybody have experience with this situation?

A while ago I purchased full rights to a marketing ebook (along with the sales page and related site) that someone else wrote. It was quite a heavy investment, but the individual who wrote it is very experienced and has a great reputation as an online marketer.

The problem is that when I submitted it to Clickbank, I had to remove details on the sales page re the original writer's success with it (as per CB's regulations) and since I haven't used the methods in the book myself, I can't make any claims about how much I earned.

Any suggestions about how I should promote it? I'm considering the idea of lowering the price and placing an ad in the Warrior forums. It'd be great to hear what others think.

Placing ad on Warrior Forum is always great investment.

I personally don't work with CB.

      Thanks for your input.

I actually started to question if submitting the product to Clickbank was a good idea (at least at this point in time). It took quite a long time to get accepted and I haven't had much success with getting people to buy the product -- not to mention the fact that gravity is quite important when trying to attract affiliates in the marketplace.
