Newbies posting they need $$$ Quickly And Then Disappears

Wouldn't it help us all if newbies actually made some indication they were following and listen to our suggestions.

Just a quote here and there.

I find it dissrespectful to ask for quick advices, then not post one reply in their own threads.

Can't they give some indicators on what they prefer and like by quoting posts they think are helpful. And just to see that they are hungry and willing learn, and earn $$$ in their deperations.

That
's
all I had to say, what do WF members think??

A possible reason you don't hear from them again is that they didn't get the money they needed, and no longer have Internet access...

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

      I like your point.

It's something I haven't thought about, I guess I'm just too caught up in speaking to the thread starters alone.

Maybe just broading my field and ignorring them if they really don't have the time to post or stay in their thread.

Something you can't do in normal real life conversations.

I first joined in June of last year. I dove right in and had some great help from people, one of which helped me put together a website.

Life was impatient with me and I was forced to take a job to earn some money quickly even though it meant having to drive 4-5 hours a day and work 7 or 8. As insane as it was for me to take that job, the money was going to be coming faster there than doing this. I was desperate, like many are. I felt horrible for walking out on the help that the one person offered me and I still feel guilty for doing it.

As much as I was getting helped, the situation at the time demanded my focus to change from this. I simply didn't have the time or energy to spend in this.

I finally got worn out in the other job and decided that it was too unhealthy for me and my relationship with my young family to continue to do that. I made some arrangements with family and am now provided with a chance to get back into it and go at it full time.

I was fortunate to be given that cushion. Not everyone is. This business takes time and that isn't something that many people are blessed with because of other obligations. They may have their heads in the right place but life forces their head to turn.

That is not always the case, but still is for many people.

I agree, I know how it is to struggle with no money(and results). I started with MLM programs, looking for quick cash, I thought every new program would generate me something, without lifting much of a finger.

You know when you need money badly you are not thinking in rational patterns.

It's like you are a jumping around like a frog from one area to another, living in a bubble and hope that money will fall from the sky.

You want to be saved by higher powers, but deep inside you knows you have a long way to ride, before you have battled your own problems.

I believe it's one of the reasons me and many others falls for some get rich quick promises.

      Desperations(impatients) leads to illogical behaviors.

P.S. I caught your blog entery, very wise words there. Seems like you are going to have a bright future in this IM field.

  • I suspect some of those newbies are current members who make up a new name to ask those questions. That way they avoid the bashing that sometimes occurs on those threads.

Speaking as one who did sort of disappear from his own thread, there were 2 factors for my disappearing from it. The first is that new threads were added so fast to the section that I lost track of where it was on the board and when I did find it again (on page 3) I started using some of what was suggested in there to help me make the quick money. The second factor for not answering is that between doing what was suggested by some of the members and going to the hospital for PT and treatments I just did not have much time left to come back to the forum. Now that I have started making money, I am back in the forum now and I am responding to my posts from the past.

Good that you are back, as long as you make up for it, there are never any issues. You had legit reasons, not excuses.

I take no offense at what you said. I am very laid back when it comes to stuff like this but I am sure that I am not the only one who gets bogged down with getting things going for themselves.

Also, you do have to admit that threads pop up rather quickly on these boards and if a noobie does not know to subscribe to his own thread, then he can lose that thread really fast. LOL

      Hi.
Newbie here! First day. Forum is very large. I am suppose to be in a private workshop.
Instructor forgot to instruct. I am learning to find my way alone in this huge forum. Get lost quickly. I can understand how and why a newbie did not respond. They are more than likely lost.
I did learn something that is very true....Some people are kind. The others care only about themself's.
I care. When I know what I am doing. I will help. Just like when I was a newbe.............Remember All
      Barbara Payton.........Just a grasshopper.

Perhaps they just got overwhelmed by the amount of answers they receive or the fact that their threads get hijacked by warriors arguing with each other as to who is giving the best advice to the newbie and why.

I have a love/hate relationship with this forum. I love coming here as I get so much value (and try and give back value as well) but I hate it too as I spend far too much time in here once I arrive - its addictive

Funny that I joined a couple years ago, posted once and it took this long for my second post. But I agree with much of the above. Life seems to take over for some. I've spent the last two days reading over these boards and I have no idea where to start. That's probably why its been so long between posts. There seems to be so many ways to go about it that I don't know where to begin. I guess it's the whole paralysis over analysis deal.

Is it just me, or is 75% of this ENTIRE forum consist of debating whether or not someone is a "newbie" or isn't, what type of newbie they are, complaining about all the annoying things they ask. The word Newbie is mentioned in almost EVERY SINGLE THREAD.

I absolutely appreciate any help and advice people take time out of their day to to share with me. I always say thanks where it's needed and have gotten many issues resolved from help from warriors.

But honestly, if you have an issue with helping people who may have questions about IM, then DON'T HELP THEM. Yes, I get it, you are incredibly educated within Internet Marketing, we ALL recognize it, have some decency and stop rubbing it in everyones face. I don't want help from anyone who is going to posts their own little threads complaining about me. What's the point. If you're so busy making millions, why do you have time to get on here and bitch? Please keep your comments to yourself, it gets incredibly annoying with the ridiculous classifications. If you are a pro, and have the time and interest to help people solve problems, THANK YOU, it's more than appreciated. Otherwise, please find another outlet for childish bullying.

Elaina....Girrrrl, you need to stop being so introverted, and say what you mean sometimes. ;-)

By the way...I sooooo totally agree with you.

Aww now that was something special there . A young one with attitude . I like that . As I am the same I am an aggressive sort as well . I too am quick to tell people where they belong . Great post .

Now what you need to do is start channeling that . Girl that attitude is a money maker trust me . No BS approach . Flame me all day long I do not care but people love the no BS approach . It appears you have that naturally as a gift .

Now for the rest of you!

Now for my little rant . If they are truly a newbie . If they are truly looking to make some money . If they have some common sense . The best thing they can do when they develop a plan of action is to GET OFF of the forum.

A lot of new people will get stuck in a rut if they do not do this and get to a point where I like to call info overload .The best thing they can do when they get a plan of action is to implement then a a couple months when everything starts running smoothly make a friendly visit back to say thanks and share there success stories . Then continue the process by helping out people themselves .

As a "newbie" to this forum the "oldies" must forget how overwhelming this forum is. Well, it is and I have spent days reading and reading. Some say research but if you try to research on this forum you may never get started on your venture. I did ask a question today and I have received MANY wonderful suggestions and I am on my way over there to let those know that responded.

    Elaina, you are right. Thanks.

hmm im sure that newbies appreicate the advice that is given sometimes it can be hard trying to take in all the advice it gets to be a real overload on the brain lol I have lost my way away the forum before its something about the way that the threads are arranged its different then other forums

I think that helping people is really good and even if you dont always get a thank you it can still be really rewarding

      Hi,

I actually made some posts couple of months ago and disappeared... The reason for this was that I became addicted to the ... Warrior Forum and took some time off to move my Internet business forward. This time off actually helped me.
