Facebook like button w/no Fanpage?

I just put a like button on my homepage but I don't have a FB fanpage...or even a FB account for that matter.

Will I still be able to get FB traffic when ppl start "liking" my site?

    No, how will people like your fanpage if you dont have one????? They will get error!!

    And you will not get any traffic, coz the fanpage doesnt exists!!

    Hey Matchoo77,

    You really don't need your own fanpage. The visitors are "liking" your website or post and not your fanpage. So it will be posted on their own wall and your website will go viral.

    That's why it's so great. At this moment I'm looking for one myself and me neither have a fanpage yet.

    you need to get a facebook site and a fan page, from personal experience its a wonderful free marketing tool for any business, also it helps friends and family members find out about your products, like your self I never had a facebook page I was so against it till a friend made me one and launched my services on their and the feed back was great as my happy customers started sharing my fan page allowing for growth to occur, my facebook grows about 10 fans a week with out spending to much time on it, I submit a 50 word advertisement / information about my services every week and the return is nice.

    Yes, when people Like your post and pages it will appear on their FB Wall and you'll get viral traffic.
