Worried about My Blog...

Hey Warriors,

Well, Im coming on Month three with my blog, and I love Blogging so much! Its such a great way to express myself and really get my voice out there in the current niche, Im trying to become known in. I have a fear though, in the back of my mind, I guess Im worried that I`ll try so hard to get this blog off the ground and get a following (and earn from that following), I am worried that I won`t be strong enough to get the things I need in order to start the earning process. My question is basically which approach should I take to starting the monetizing process on my blog, Or should I just keep doing what Im doing (Posting valuable content, updating recently, and promoting) and wait before I start trying to truly monetize my blog?

Wait until you have a sizable following but like in the song

"Good things come to those who wait
But not those who wait too late"

dont wait till your alexa ranking is less than 50,000

Its always a tricky one to answer, when to monetize. But one thing is for sure, dont relax on producing valuable content for your readers coz that is what they come for at the end of the day.

When you do decide to monetize then make sure its relevant to your content. Gaming blogs are good to monetize because there are tons of gaming CPA offers out there.

What kind of traffic numbers are you getting at the mo?

Currently not very much, I think thats part of the reason why Im so worried about it, I heard that in order to survive in the gaming niche you need a great amount of traffic to your site, my next goal is to start learning SEO better, I am horrible at that currently..

In the Gaming Niche there is a lot of competition, and I know that this niche is where the money is, But I am uncertain if I should Monetize now so early in the game or should I wait thats the real question as of right now!

I'd recommend getting into advertising when you get 5000 unique visitors each month OR you have a decent list: 1000+

I think you should begin with Adsense as a way to monetize your blog. The number of visitors to your blog should suggest the timing of monetization. Once you have high-volume and targeted traffic coming to your site you can sell ad space and promote others' products as an affiliate.

Create info products and sell. These can not only create additional stream of income, but also make you less dependent on Adsense. Posting of quality content on a regular basis, back linking and driving traffic to your site are among the keys to earn money from your blog.

Thank you very much! Thats been floating around my mind as well, with adsense to get start! I think I was looking for an answer like that exactly, I have high hopes for my blog, and I just don`t want to be 6 months down the road with a nice blog but not earning anything .... I wouldn`t know if thats a failure or if I just haven`t done a good job ... haha
