Best recourse to learn about affiliate marketing

Hello!

I wanted to create some affiliate web pages, could some one please tell me what is the best recourse for me to lear about affiliate marketing?

I have good knowledge in web design, web development and a bit of SEO.
So I think I have to learn better about SEO, PPC and how to find niche which isnt full.

So I understand so far that first affilate web page I will create with low budget PPC, good content and some good long tail keywords, but I dont have any knowledge how to find some good long tail keywords, I tried with google keyword tool, but I didnt find anything which had low Approximate CPC and good Monthly Searches.

For example if I wanna write about "Protein Bar", I searched it in google keyword tool but it seems that there isnt any good long tail keyword, so that means this niche is full? Or I just have to try something specific , like "natural protein bars" and then look at google "Keyword ideas"?

What is your best tactic to find good long tail keywords?
And what is best recourse (blog, webpage, book, forum) to learn about affiliate marketing?

    It all depends on which way you want to go...

    The 30 day challenge might be a good start from what I've read about your knowledge and experiences.

    Google it up. They're now making it for a couple of years, I don't know how many. It has been different every year, so make sure you watch the older and the newer versions.

    PPC and affiliate marketing has gotten a lot more difficult. Google doesn't like bridge pages, so you might bang your head against the wall trying to get your landing page approved. There are some tricks to getting around this, but you're better off selling your own stuff via PPC. Doesn't take long at all to modify some PLR or interview a few experts on a subject. I'd go that route if PPC is the way you want to go.
