I would like to start a link exchange service site/hub

INTERNET MARKETING

Earlier in the week I picked up a really good aged domain name that would be perfect for a link exchange service or a hub for back link providers. I use mainly WordPress, but am having a hard time finding a plugin or theme package that can serve to this end. My skills at PHP are next to nil. So any suggestions will be most appreciated.

Have you looked at phpLD? It was originally built as a link exchange/link directory platform.

  Nope, that program won't work for my needs. Just a directory more or less.
  
  Looking for a link exchange service type system, not recip links to a directory service. I got a few of those plugins and templates for WP. It just doesn't fit the bill.

  Hi Chris,
  Are you looking to do something similar to backlinks.com or linkadage.com ? If yes, chances are very low an existing WP theme or plugin will do it.
  
  There are plenty of listings for such script clones at the freelancer websites and maybe one of the script cloning services will have something ready or be ready to do it for you. But PHP will be the way to go if you are looking for something like backlinks.com or linkadage.com. If at all you go for a script clone, be sure to test it out rigorously before paying up.

Yes, I think some modification would be needed. We could do it with phpLD as we have many of the needed tools, but it would still require some extra work.
