Need advice - suggestions- monetization?

I really could use some advice from fellow warriors about my blog microigsiteblog.com.

Background: it started out to be the support blog for my new fiverr-like site: microgigsite.com. However, as it has developed it has turned into a site that I am absolutely loving which is celebrating women online working (WOW). I developed WOW categories (specifically for women to post micro gigs) on microgigsite.

I had my VA's search out women owned businesses on Facebook/Estey/blogs etc and we have been publishing profiles of the business owners - how they got started who they are etc. I am also publishing some "how to work from home articles" and have a new category which will have profiles of some well known very successful women entrepreneurs (Debbi Fields, Coco Channel, the founder of Burt's Bees) etc.

The site has been VERY well received - we are currently getting over 200 hits a day from viral traffic and growing - and we are only a few weeks old.

My question is direction and design. What can we do better? What other directions would be useful? How can I actually monetize the site (I'm not getting much cross over to the microgigsite from the visitors).

This blog has morphed into something that is very near and dear to me and I have been thanked again and again by people telling me how grateful they are to me for putting the site together (which makes me feel warm and fuzzy - but doesn't help to pay the bills).

So, I know this is long, but I really feel like I could use some direction from more experienced marketers. Like it? Hate it? Ideas?

Any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Tami

The link is broken. It is missing a "g". Just wanted to let you know.

As for the advice. It looks nice, except for the top nav bar. It runs over. I would shorten it up. I think you have a good idea, just need to get more people to catch on. To monetize it maybe you can sell ad space.
