Hey everyone:

I'm still in the process of trying to decide on the site I want to build for my first affiliate marketing site. I like computers and am pretty good with them, but from what I've heard and kinda researched on, it would be hard to build a site in the electronics/computer niche since it's a highly competitive market. I mainly know how to do PC repair type of stuff. If anyone could help me in this area, that would be great. Also, I will be willing to research different topics of things I don't have knowledge of either with some help on this.

I may build either a desktop or laptop computer review site which would give out reviews about the computers stores such as like best buy, and others are selling. Sites like those are ones I could keep adding posts to.

My tip to you would be to write about topics that you are passionate about and interested in, so even if you do not make a lot of money doing it, you still win!

pcdoctor.. One of my goals for 2012 is to build a different niche blogs(just to use blogger and youtube) and one of the niche I am passionate about was the same as yours..had been repairing computers before in our local area..and I did plan to provide a series of helpful videos on youtube(might give you an idea and you can do yours too).. you can find my only one video at youtube on clintprexis channel..funny it's only ONE and never did add more videos..lol.

That was my goal for the month of March 2012 that I will add other helpful series of videos on that channel about computer tips tricks, advice, etc.

I guess you have a lot of ideas.. you might be creating a review of each newest out processors of intel or amd etc? Just an idea..might help..

The electronics and computer niche is highly competitive. But there still is room for those who are creative and innovative. For example, add your own personal touch or find out what your competitors don't like to do and you do it. That's would be an instant way to stand out from the crowd of competition. Don't let the competition stop you, competitive markets is where the big money is.

      Hello..

A sharing of how to make money online:

1st: position ourselves in profitable market, find a area online where people already spent money.

2nd: create a squeeze page (a simple one page website) based on that theme.
3rd: build a list, give products for free. It may take 2-3 months, market related products to our list.
      4th: get your results!!

So go ahead with your niche. Learn the techniques to drive targeted traffic to your website and stand out from other competitors!!

That is a very saturated market. Do you provide local computer service? If so target the local market and you might do ok. If not you just need to build genuine unique and useful information to attract visitors and links.

    HI PC doctor,

I really would not look at doing a review site on anything like PC's Laptops... the competition is very fierce and you will struggle why dont you look at other products in amazon?

I recently created a video on how I find niches using amazon... (I have already posted this youtube video once today)

This is what i do and i have found lots of great products to promote

    Hope that helps

electronic related keywords are really competitive. but PC hard ware are not that competitive. you can research the keyword. make fresh solutions of Hard Ware related problems and initial solutions. i think this will be just great. and definitely you will get the affiliate links for that.

Your best bet is to write about / promote stuff you are familiar with. I do very well in the electronics niche.
