How do I find all my bought WSO's

My hard drive recently went up in smoke and I lost all my emails and downloads.

Is there a way to find the wso's that I bought before meltdown?

Nope, consider it a lesson learned... Should have backed them up on an external hard drive.. Just kidding... Why don't you look in your PayPal account for the receipt numbers and contact the WSO sellers with that information.

And once you get them all back, get a Dropbox account (it's free) and save them there as well. That way they won't go up in smoke when your computer does, and you can access them from another computer. Dropbox rocks!

And it wouldn't hurt to have an external backup drive as well, that backs up your computer's hard drive and your Dropbox. You can never have too many backups (a lesson you only have to learn once)...

We have data extraction companies here, not cheap but it depends how much the content is worth to you.

Never have your stuff in one place.

Also as Mike said and most WSO's are sent to your Paypal email, do a search with "WSO delivery" or whatever the title is and you should find them there as well as manually searching.

As Mike and Richard said. Get a external HD to keep backups on in the future.

There's a site that keeps them all. I'm currently on my phone not CPU so don't know exactly what it is (have it bookmarked on CPU), but think it may be: WarriorPlus

Some marketplaces store a list of the things you've bought in that marketplace. WarriorPlus keeps such a list; so does JVZoo. But they only know about the things you bought through them.

On Warrior Plus, you need to click on "My Account" in the upper right to get to the screen where "Purchase History" is available.

I've learned my lesson a while back.

Dropbox is alright but Windows Skybox gives you about 25gb of free storage.

For my notes I use Evernote to save on my Ipad and Laptops.

I also use and external hardrive for back ups - and that has another drive as a 2nd hard drive back up (hidden somewhere in my home). Not to mention memory sticks that I use for writing primarily.

Once you have everything set up is quite easy to process, and is worth the time.

Everything said above about backups and...

Make it a point to post something in every WSO thread from which you buy. Then you can always use the search feature to find WSOs you want to restore. Also WarriorPlus has a WSO tracker. Whether WSO Pro was used or not you can see all past and present WSOs back for several years, even ones from the previous version of the Warrior Forum.

Mate in addition to drop box buy 1 Flash Drive where you can save your files... And try to not always keep it with u :p.....

Yeah... really... That way you are going to loose it some day.... After saving all WSO's on Flash Drive keep that drive on a safe place and use it once in a month to make sure that files don't get corrupt due to access issues....

The above tips worth to read.... I learned from them as well

    All the best.....

If you can't even remember half of the WSO's you bought then they probably weren't worth remembering.

I managed to access them ALL through WarriorPlus. Many thanks for all the advice. I did have all my documents on dropbox but have not figured out how to have my emails saved on it yet.

Anyway, at least I now have my WSO's!

Go into your Paypal account click on money spent (or whatever they call) it.
Then click on show ALL (or whatever they call that)
Now you can get the details by clicking on each item. If you e-mail the people you paid many of them will probably be nice enough to resend.

It's not a solution, but external drives are worth their weight in gold.

This maybe the hardest lesson you did learn from technology; Never and Never save your data only in your hard disk. Please let me tell you a story that happened to me.

In 2002 I bought my first computer, I saved my pictures that I was taking from Cameras and videos from my video cameras, I stored my projects that I made about Computer science (fortunately after I presented my projects in classes ) and other courses that I took and every valuable data for more than 4 years; in the end of 2006 especially in December the 17, The HD broken and I lost anything.

I did never smash the computer or even moved it to another place (just the HD decided not working again). I lost anything and everything.

This is the painful and the hardest lesson anyone avoid to learn it.

From that moment I stored all my data without exception in HD of the computer of course + the external HD GB250 + DVDs + web hosting account (I bought it only to upload my computer data in it )

To solve your problem; check your Email of your PayPal account or access to your PayPal account or contact the PayPal support and ask them.

Only last month my fiend's friend had all their data on a backup laptop in the same car as the originals on their primary laptop). Left car for two minutes to do an errand. BOTH got stolen.

There is always a good plan to make a backup, now days it's much cheaper to buy a external hard drive, there are services online that are free as well for this type of backups.

Prevention is better than a cure. Moving forward, Dropbox is great. But as someone else said, you can never have too much backup. I also use an external hard drive, but I keep it away from home. If you keep all your backups at the same location and you have a disaster like fire or flood, they could all be lost at once.

Excellent point! Thanks for mentioning that - I have hard drive backups, but all in my office. Time to move one or 2 elsewhere, especially since a house nearby had a fire not too long ago. Could be an omen!
