      I agree!
      Google is best source of traffic + if you use adsense it's much
      better if your traffic is organic.

    Adwords and SEO. Both takes time to get good at, but worth it because the quality of traffic is really good. Adwords is expensive but has quality traffic, and SEO takes time to get ranked, bot are good ways to drive traffic.

    My favorite traffic sources are solo ads and PPC with google. Keep in mind ppc with google needs to be a niche outside of IM or make money online those.

    I personally love to use forum marketing and blog commenting as my main sources of traffic.

    It's easy, you can learn a lot in the process, and it's long-lasting traffic - albeit not the fastest forms.

    I find the top blogs in my niche and make it a point to comment regularly with outstanding comments that add value, improve the conversation, and ultimately make the blog owner happy. When you are consistent with these methods they provide a huge boost in traffic and they are targeted leads, not just people looking for freebies - but people who want to learn more from you.

    It depends what for.

    For blogs, I agree with Pauly. Do not underestimate the power of good comments, and even guest posts. When you write quality content on high traffic sites, then you will get traffic. Even blog commenting tribes are great for the same reason, you all help each other gain visitors, comments and network with other proactive marketers.

    I prefer methods where I build relationships alongside making money, because lets face it, the online world can sometimes be a lonely place.

      I love SEO and Article Marketing but am looking to get into ppc.

      Once you have a good system in place and get the ground work for SEO and Article marketing, you can get tons of targeted traffic. PPC on the other hand is fast and allows you to test and find winners quickly which you can then start your seo campaigns on.

    My favorite traffic source is adf.ly.. It's not the best quality traffic but it's extremely cheap. You can get 1,000 visitors for $1.00 so with $100 you can have 100,000 visitors. It's what I've been using for the past couple of months to build massive email lists. Not a lot of people know about adf.ly..

    I am happy with direct media buys.
    The beauty is that you can get unlimited amount of cheap traffic.
    Once you get into the track, it is so easy to scale and it's highly profitable.

    Im a social media guy and get most traffic from my networks. It works good once you have built up a big list of followers or several. I find also that different things work better on different sites. For instance reddit good if you got a good photo to share and catchy title. "weightloss" wont work but, "lazy fat guy loses 20lbs while showering" will.

    Search engine (organic) traffic is what I like and I get the most traffic from. Yeah, it takes time to rank and start seeing some traffic, but when it starts coming in, it is targeted and highly convertible.

    Just blew $500 on facebook ads and another $500 on Stumbleupon. The traffic just doesn't convert that well...funny because the fan page within FB itself was, but not another site. Google is amazing, but my favorite traffic is from article sites/web2.0s as they are a "double optin" usually.

    Person searches Google, they find your article. Person reads article, then clicks through to your site. They are an extremely hot lead compared to just search.

    But the traffic is much lower, so Google is king still

      I like paid traffic but its also very risky you may lose your shirt if you do not know what you are doing ...forum and blog comments traffic is very high quality but it takes time to see big results ..and do not forget your offer and landing page and call to action its very important factors to convert that traffic .
