    If your theme doesn't have custom templates for the type of page you need, you can create a custom template and upload it. There are plenty of tutorials around.

    No. Depends what platform your squeeze page is on. If it's plain HTML, you'll need one coded.

    Yes there is. Sort of.

    This plugin will create your squeeze page in WP and you can select it to be a one column template. The headline you can remove with just ticking of a box.

    The plugin is named "wp optin plugin" and be downloaded for free at: WP Optins

    Have a wonderful day!

      Hmm, maybe I misunderstood what you were asking, because this plugin creates squeeze pages, and those pages created with this plugin is without the sidebar (in wordpress) if you choose so.

      The rest of your wordpress site is still with the sidebar. Only those sites created using the plugin templates will be without the sidebar (one column pages).

      If you want your complete site to be one column, it is better to use one column WP templates.

      Hit me, a PM and we can take a look at it together if you like.

      PS. I have now created a test page at one of my websites to demonstrate this plugin.

      Take a look at every post or page at Welcome to Abbeltinfo.com | Ab Belt Info. You will see that it has two columns.

      If you take a look at Testsite For WF you will see that it is one column, and without any title or header.

        Hey

        If you're looking to create your squeeze page on a totally blank page why not just set up a sub-folder in your domain ie:yourdomain/yoursqueezepage.com. You can use Kompozer (free tool) to create the squeeze page. It's a quick and easy solution.

    The plugin I use to remove the sidebar or make custom sidebars is called Custom Sidebars. Just put it in the plugins search bar. It allows you to choose the sidebar you use for each page. I just make a custom sidebar that is blank and use that on my pages where I do not want a side bar. You can also check out Widget Logic. I like that too for a membership site. It only shows the sidebars if certain conditions are met.

    Hope that helps.

    Try this free Wordpress theme Intrepidity.

    You can create landing pages with or without header/footer and no sidebar. Here is an example landing page.

    There are a lot of things you can do with the theme.

    Maybe it will help.

    Although it's may not be the best way to do it, it works and it's simple.

    Check to see if there's a full-width page template for the theme you're using.

    why dont you create a static page and add the template code to the top of the page

    Code:
    <?php
     /*
    Template Name: squeeze page
    */
    ?>
    place your squeeze page html code below these 5 lines and save it as a
    php file in your template directory.
    Now go and create a page and use squeeze page template as the template choice over on the right side. Then you can set this page to load up in your settings.

    daveyace you can use the template in my signature. It does not pull the header nor the sidebar for the squeeze page.

    Andy,

    Brad is right. If you want your salespage or landing page to be controlled within your WP Admin area, create a custom page template. (If it doesn't matter, just FTP it to your server. Bang! Done.)

    Do be aware, though, that simply adding the php snippet, above, won't allow you to edit the body content of the page using the WP editor. There's a little bit more code hacking to do. So -- unless I'm mistaken [code monkeys???] -- any edits will have to be done to the file on your machine locally and then re-FTPed to your server.

    That's unlikely to be a problem in most cases. Just thought it worth pointing out in case you followed those directions and were like "What the--? Why can't I edit this sucker now that it's inside WP?"

    Good luck with it.

    Tons of themes you could use for this sort of thing.

    If you're not attached to yours, I'd recommend optimize press or creating a custom theme in Artisteer. Both of those will allow you to easily remove a sidebar.

    You can download themes that are available to remove sidebar and header, however your current theme should support the feature.
