Building Amazon Sites - What are your TIPS?

This time I am going to make it happen!!!! Yes.... I am going to take ACTION!!!! from A to Z!!! I know that this time I am not going to give up!
I found about IM in 2009! Since then I purchased so many courses on how to make money...with ebay, adsense, emails, blogs... you name it!!!!! oooo... also amazon!
in May 2011 I bought a good WSO on amazon....I said that I am going to stick to this method...I bought a domain... I did keyword research, I wrote good content for 5 pages and I also bought a good theme for amazon sites....BUT!!!! I didn't post all the content on the site....and the site is still empty!
of course I forgot now how exactly to do it....and what I wanted to do with it...
So...Last week I got another WSO for AMAZON sites and I am going to stick with that WSO till the Z!
I am not going to buy more WSO or courses!!! I wanted to ask all of you that have experience with amazon sites...
what are your tips?
how long did it take you to see the first $1?

    When I bring up a new Amazon site, it generally takes a week or two to start ranking. Once that happens, my new product posts are typically indexed and on Page 1 within minutes of posting. Earnings quickly follow.

    They key is proper keyword research and of course solid content.

      The problem is that there is so many was to do the keyword research that it's hard to know wich one is the best....but that I will know only after I take action and build a good number of sites!

    You made the main mistake than 90% of newbies do and that is you did not stick with it which is the main reason people fail, they give up to easy.

    Tips.

    1.) Do your research (this is the most important first step and will normally take you the longest to do correctly, choosing the right niche and keywords will ultimately determine how successful you will be for that site )

    2.) When building your site be sure to focus on on page SEO.

    3.) Add relevant ORIGINAL Content taking the visitor into account give them what they are looking for when searching for the product and they will reward you with that you want which is a sale.

    4.) Stick with it it, takes time to start earning a good income on Amazon but once you do it will come in residually so it comes back to research and making sure you spend enough time on that to ensure your success.

    Ok, im assuming you know about backlinks, keyword evaluation, market research and buyer keywords.

    Focus on an authority site instead of a one off product site . Dont worry about having the product name in the domain. Cleanair.com would be great if you were selling air purifiers and dehumidifiers.

    I would write 4 informative unique 500 word posts for every buyer keyword review money post.

    Keep your affiliate links below the fold. Focus on quality bls from high pr sites using guest blogging.

    3 months before u start seeing profits.

    2. Find good keywords
    3. Build Quality Content that presells visitors
    4. Social bookmark your website <--- Tells Google that your content is being shared socially.
    5. Build quality backlinks <--- Either create them yourself or outsource
    6. Rank your website and add affiliate links
    7. Collect money passively FOREVER....

    That's about my process for making profitable amazon sites. Make sure you get the keywords and the content right. The ranking part can be easily outsourced or done yourself if you learn how.

        Nah. With some effort, you can have your site up and running in a few days. Just make sure you target the right keywords/products.

    One word is all you need in order to do well in this or any other IM business: consistency. If you stick with a plan, you'll make it work. If you waste lots and lots of time on a thousand different ideas, you'll line other people's pockets but never your own.

    Look,Internet Marketing Is Simple But not easy.
    85% Of the "Newbies" Quit For 2 Simple Reasons.

    1.Distractions, All the "Gurus" Out there And the "Shiny" Products Get you Distracted Fast,You need to stick with a system.Find a good mentor,And Scale up So you could Eventually Build yourself an Empire,Which is Possible,not IMPOSSIBLE.

    2.Motivation, It's Easy to Lose Motivation, IM is Sometimes Boring,Especially Traffic Generation, In the Beggining You need to do a lot of work,But stay motivated It WILL pay off Sooner Than you think.

    One main tip about building An amazon site,After you Did you Research,And after you set The domain and Hosting,You should Choose Good theme,Sounds Lame? NO,Driving traffic Is Driving Traffic and it works for every site,But for amazon sites,You really need a converting Template,Believe me When i say it affects your CTR.

        Hi,

        My story is somewhat similar to you, i was brought to I.M from an amazon course.. Then products after products, ideas after ideas, and lost the direction.

        My advice -
        1)This time stick to it,
        2) Don't make exact domain websites. Make websites which you can scale easily...
        3) Create Great Content, Put videos, product comparisons etc.
        4) Organic Backlinks - don't buy fiverr service providing you thousand of backlinks they are the recipe for getting deindexed by google.
        5) And keep posting content on your website, write reviews and reviews and reviews.
        6) Make websites in such a way that readers see the video and then link to amazon so they are off to amazon and you can enjoy the commissions.

        There is a saying hardwork always pays off..

    Your biggest obstacle will be getting traffic. Make sure the keywords you go after have very low competition so you can start to get some traffic. Unless you are good with SEO and have money to buy links you won't be able to rank your site and get traffic if your keywords are too competitive.

    Since you are just starting out, stick with very long-tail keywords to try to rank and start there. Try to rank for many long-tail keywords instead of 1 or 2 big keywords with alot of searches.

    Interesting! I was thinking that- that's the way to make money.... I don't think that from 1 site of an Amazon site....I will be able to earn allot of money...I know that it depends on which niche I am focusing on.
    But still...I will need to build a few good amount of amazon sites if I want to earn $2000-$5000 per month.

    So do you say I need to pick a good niche (for example: health and fitness) and concentrate on only 1 site?

      Nope. I earn $X,XXX per month with just a very small number of sites. Focus on building one or two authority sites and with some effort and proper product selection, you should do well.

      As another poster said, stop listening to people who say building 100 sites each earning $2/day is the right thing to do. It's not. Just step back and think about it for 2 seconds and it becomes crystal clear. How cost effective is something like that in terms of both time and money? How can you effectively support 100 sites??

      Stick with a few sites.

        I always thought if I need to build 100 sites - that all of those sites will be with very low content....
        if I need to spend more than a week to build one site...then 100 sites wont be worth my time
