Koolsteve - your not using your head my friend.

There is noway somebody can actually give you 10,000 twitter followers in 3 days that are real people, without some sort of catch - what's the catch? These followers will most likely be worthless to you (unless your just looking for a nice looking figure on your followers?).

I am not certain, but I'm guessing that these people are simply using services themselves to get followers from account gen's or they will broadcast your twitter link to a "add me on twitter" type group.

But think realistically - if people could get 10,000 real people to follow anyone in 3 days - REAL PEOPLE - they would be considered a marketing genius and employed by some of the best marketers out there.

IMHO: If something sounds to good to be true...

My advice would be to test the service for yourself, depending on price, and see what it can do for you.

But as a general rule from me: I strictly stay away from all of these kind of services which offer Facebook and Twitter friends - it is usually only good for looks, but I'm not a fake guy.

(However I can't personally judge the service you are talking about because I haven't dealt with anyone selling twitter followers on eBay)

My bottom line advice: as a general rule stay away from these sorts of services, however I haven't tested the exact service you are talking about so I can not comment on that persons service.

They are not real people. They are fake bulk profiles. You will notice that once you check your followers and see their timelines filled with meaningless ramble and broken clauses.

If you just want to get your follower count up, this works. If you want real people following, this doesn't work.

They are using web bots plus proxies to generate twitter accounts which are then set to follow buyers' twitter accounts. So as others have mentioned, they are fake.

Most service providers that are providing such services have their own twitter accounts and they follow their clients accounts. If you want to do it yourself totally free, try twellow, I found it very effective.

This is the equivelent of drift net fishing. Oh, you might fill the net, but only a tenth of the fish will even be worth the effort.

What you want are engaged followers - quality and not quantity. Or both if you can get em

I've heard people don't do this for the sake of getting "good" followers, but for the sole fact of kick starting their marketing campaign. It's just like if you went to a Facebook Fan Page and saw that 5,000 people liked that page. You're more apt to also "like" that page because so many others liked it. Even if the first 2000 were not really involved real people, it created a buzz to get it going.

Hi Steve.

My theory is that it is part of many incentivized social media services out there where users rack up points and rewards for liking and following certain things, as well as reading e-mails, taking surveys and filling out offers.

There are countless services out there where you can make a few quick bucks by following say, 100 people on Twitter or liking 20 or 30 things on Facebook. Chances are, the services you use is utilizing a network of these sorts of services to acquire human likes and followers.

Problem is, because they are being rewarded for the click or the like, they are probably not interested in what you're selling that much. They probably just did it because someone paid them a few cents.

Either that, or they are bots. Only other explanation I can think of.

What are your goals? 10k to impress someone, or make yourself feel popular? 10k actual engaged followers? Are you trying to monetize those 10k followers?

As far as monetization goes, Twitter is a numbers game. You're only going to get your mesage in front of a relatively small segment of your followers at any given time... however... quality is much to be preferred over quantity. Here's an example:

Twitter user A has 100k "followers" - that are auto-generated, fake accounts.

Twitter user B has just 100 followers - that are real people.

Who has the greater chance of making a sale?

the reason i use fake followers is so my tweets show up as a top tweet, so it stays visible to all twitter users for weeks, not just your followers, if i only had 50 real followers im restricted to just them, since the new twitter, you dont need to worry about targeted followers and klout scores

As others have said already, those followers will be just a ton of bots. Not real people.

For twitter to be worth-while, you need REAL, TARGETED followers. Not just a bunch of random people & fake accounts.

BTW, you can follow more than 200 people per day on Twitter. Just dont try and follow 800 per day like they say you can. They will suspend you for 'aggressive following'

And you should try using multiple accounts. For example, its easier to build 20 accounts up with 2,500 followers each, than it is to build only 1 account up with 50,000 followers.

But both methods still produce 50k, and the one using more accounts can do it faster.

Anyway, I have built followers over time - year or more and I do get a good response to my tweets. I'll just keep building the real ones.

Your signature says you have 20,000 twitter followers. You are offering almost similar service but if people start thinking even your claim is fake, would you agree ? If I see you here in WF and also in Fiverr, I would definitely use your services. But if I see you only in fiverr and not in WF or any other similar forums, then I would think twice before placing order.

So if the seller whom you have seen is also available here then take a chance.

In any case, please keep us informed what you intend doing now that you have got conflicting views from warriors.

I think the best way is to continue with the method you are using now.

At least that way you know they are followers that have the same interests and are in your niche, making them more acceptable to your marketing efforts.

A bought list of 10,000 followers will not be targeted to your niche and you would probably be lucky if 2% are acceptable to your marketing.

I would personally give it a miss!

They are not all fake. I have seen Twitter followers with real profile photos, bio, etc. Some Twitter sellers will target with English or foreign followers, etc. You have to be careful and ask what type of followers are offered for sale. A Twitter seller can deliver "real" followers however, they usually need your user ID and password and the job may take 1-2 weeks.

The truth is they're worth their weight in gold and here is how: people trust you if you're popular. Have a large following makes you look like a brick&mortar establishment such as a Fed Insured bank. Which is totally insane but it's simply just how the human mind functions. For example do you trust Tom Cruise? What about Tom Hanks? Of course you do! We're crazy! But what does that mean to you in real value, where can you liquidate this gold? That's up to you. If you're selling something, at least now you have customer trust. Now the rest is up to your selling skills, your product, and so on. So back to the drawing board. If you're wanting real power, you'll need to become friends with at least 10 of those people. Such great friends that they're willing to die and sell for you to 10 of their friends. And if they are as convincing as you, there will be a huge following of people willing to die and sell for you: 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 and so on. I think you get the point. TEN people turns into a Million super fast, if those TEN are willing to die and sell for you, and can convince their 10, and so on. The product you're selling also helps. If it's something people love passing along to friends, and it convinces them that they want to die for it and sell it to their friends, then you have a killer product. And in fact, if you already have 10 friends willing to trust and love and sell and die for you, then let me know because I'd give a Million dollars for that kind of social power. As others have said, you really need to be cautious about who you're buying followers from. It's best to play it safe and accumulate followers gradually -- like you've been doing -- instead of purchasing them. Focus on tweeting good content and you'll attract people who genuinely want to read what you tweet.

So, this is a easy thing to do with certain programs. I have gotten 1000+ followers in less than 7 days with the right software. The key is, as mentioned before, is to choose followers of people working in your niche. Generally, they are going to have interest in your tweets. I will say this, be wary of people who will tweet to 100k+ people using a re-tweet method. That has a good chance of getting your account suspended indefinitely! Also, I second the tweelow site to find followers. You can sort users by their interests and create a laser focused group of followers.

They are fake followers! Why would you want to have 10k followers? For what? Just stick to TweetAdder. Gradually, you will have 10k followers if you have patience to wait.

Well they are professionals who already have a lot of contacts to follow you. They put your link in their fan page or their twitter accounts and try to make them follow you. They are experts in this kind of these. But you should be careful to buy as there are lots of people who take your money and dont do anything.

I guess thats one of their ways to do such things.

There are many different softwares that generate thousands of profiles with the click of a button.
There are several people of fiverr offering to give you this service. If you just need numbers on your Twitter then this could work for you but if you are looking for genuine followers and real people targeted then avoid these services.
Twitter has become full of spam bots and I don't find it nearly as effective as it was a few years ago.

I seriously doubt anyone could do this WITH REAL followers. There are sites like youlikehits or twiends where anyone can get followers within minutes, but they need to follow them back. Some people just use automated scripts so that they can get 1.000-10.000 followers daily and then sell that on places like eBay or Fiverr to people who think they get real followers.

Definitely not worth it if you ask me,

Don't do it Koolsteve... stick to the TweetAdder and let it build slowly over time. I would much rather have 500 targeted followers after a month's time of using TweetAdder that may lead to 20 potential leads, than to have 10,000 followers in 3 days that I'd be lucky to get 1 lead from.

Stick to TweetAdder... that's what I use to build my followers and it's helped. I've made a few networking connections as well as some sales to my merchant sites as a result of my tweets and their joining. Key with TweetAdder as well if you haven't yet done so, is to use the "Thank You Message" option and create a few variations of Thank You messages your followers will get along with a brief link to your site. That has helped me to make some connections and build leads. At 20 a day roughly, you'll be at 600 followers a month and at 3 months, you may almost have 2000... most of which will be targeted since I'm assuming this is what you're building for with TweetAdder. Don't buy followers, they're just bots and not worth anything.

On Ebay people sell Twitter accounts.
The price is around $100 for around 15.000 - 20.000 followers.

I once created an account that had 30.000 followers. (it might be dropped till 25.000)

those kind of services are what responsible for giving the industry a bad name! They are bulk non human followers...look at their profile...simple, if anyone was to look at your followers they would see they were dud and read you as a charlatan! not good for your business profile.... I always look at the followers of people who have extra large numbers... It's not normal to have tens of thousands of followers anyway!!!!!!

Preach on Al! Building followers slowly that are targeted in your niche that are HUMAN is worth while. I've had several of my followers retweet my posts and others ask me questions as friends of other friends... there's no point in bogus dud names and accounts, as they do nothing at all. I'm happy with my TweetAdder slow method instead of quick buys... I debated on TweetAttacks too but not sure how they are in comparison to TweetAdder... I heard the TweetAttacks feature of replying to @ messages is pretty cool but not sure what other things set these two apart to where I should buy TweetATtacks also.

Don't buy bulk though, whether from eBay, Fiverr, etc. Build human natural followers... it'll pay off in the end.

Unless you find a wizard, it's pretty useless to buy Twitter followers or also Facebook followers, because they are simply worthless and they do nothing to bring your Twitter to life.

For example, some months ago I bought a few Twitter followers to check the quality, here on WF, and I got them delivered in around a week. But they seem frozen, with no posts, no retweets and nothing else.

So my advice is to try to grow your Twitter list by hand, day by day. There are a lot of interesting guides here around, but don't throw away your money for services like that.

Most illegal activities like creating 10,000 twitter followers for our twitter account is just to cheat us on economic backgrounds. Instead of falling victim to soome cheap tricks like this, people can find themselves a new legal way to increase the number of followers.

Most of the responses here have the right idea. If your goal is to have the appearance that you have a lot of followers (i.e. having a high number of them), then purchasing this would be a good idea. But if you are actually looking to have meaningful, REAL people following you, that may possibly be interested in buying from you, then this is not the way to go.

Even if this program was to give you 10,000 REAL PEOPLE following you (which I guarantee is not the case), it would still be not of much benefit, since unless you are getting targeted followers who are genuinely interested in the products you are promoting, they are basically worthless when it comes to potential leads.

You really need some knowledge in this area. There are plenty of people who have built up real and fake followers and use their own accounts and groups to get you followers and fans. I have found fiverr to be full of problems for followers and fans unless it's the gigs where they tweet to their massive list X number of times for a duration.

TweetAdder is very good and popular for clickbank products and cpa offers, etc.

To say or assume they are all fake is not accurate. But it is definitely buyer be ware. Do your homework to make an informed purchase.

Many times the twitter follower aren't actually real even if the seller says they are. However, many times this is a possibility. There are several software's on the market that allow you to add twitter followers quickly. You have to be careful because they can also get accounts banned pretty easily as well. Some people are experts with these softwares though.
