Once I started doing this exclusively, I made money in a few days.

One of the Mistakes that many Marketers both successful and unsuccessful marketers, Make,
is they often tend to put the cart in front of the horse. I have seen this behavior from some of the big name marketers, the hype kings if you will.

I have seen this behavior in many instances on products being marketed online, one of the most egregious sins of marketing is to create a product without doing the research first, (research is one of the most valuable services you can offer online)

Many Marketers do not have the time or do not take the time to do the research before creating a product, one recent product that fits this example perfectly was marketed on a website, offering Medical Doctors, website services, the product was a nice product, however, because of HIPPA related legal issues, the product was open to federal law suits, (imagine the legal implications if you went around and sold a Doctor, a website, and it was hacked, next thing you know the feds show up and want to have an 8 hour "discussion" with you the end of which you ask for a Lawyer.

At the end of this horror story, you will end up selling your home and every thing you own to stay out of jail, likely you will end up being convicted of a felony, loose your right to vote, be unable to obtain credit, and a host of other issues that would drive any man insane in short order.

After all that, expect to be served with a civil suit to pay for the legal services the Doctor had to pay to defend himself for the same charges, $175,000.00 easy if not more.

That is if your lucky, sure the example is extreme, but not out of this world extreme.

See, when you look at the situation a little research would have eliminated or greatly reduced the risk associated with this kind of issue, there are a few things that can be done, to secure a website, but in this case, there was no provision to comply with HIPPA rules and federal regulations.

Simple really, just one hour of research would have been enough but so often marketers fail to do that one small thing,

And were talking about Super Gurus, people that should know better, do this all the time, they get an idea for a product turn it over to an assistant, and they move onto the next project, never realizing that they could be opening them selves up to serious legal issues, and this is just one small example, there are tons of them out there,

I’d say start with affiliate marketing but keep in mind that the real money is made with your own products. Don't let the stiff competition in affiliate marketing scare you away. There are some strategies you can use to effectively find your feet in this.

I have to agree with Tim, but I wouldnt use the word "research", because people research for months and get so invested in an idea because its "supposed to" work according to their research, that they end up selling their home before they stop kicking a dead horse.

They put too much stock in their research.

I would replace that word with "testing", and that is simply putting little sparks out there to see what starts a fire every day... an ounce of testing is worth a pound of research.

The practice of the worlds largest retailers for instance is to test a product in a couple of stores and only roll it out nationwide if its a hit.

Finding your own niche is very important. Something that interest you, that you have a passion in, then you will not feel that you are "working".
Competition is strong outside, providing high value and unique goods/services to consumers out there will definitely help a lot.

Making money online can be tough only when you do not know what you want and what you need to do.
Learning and investing (time and money) is inevitable, study what WORKS and not the fastest way to make money online as usually, those methods don't really work out well.

in very simple words...

1. find a profitable niche
2. build a list of interested people in that niche
3. promote products to that list


Of course, there's a lot more that goes into that...you also of course want to add value to the IM sphere and the people on your list.

1. Setup a blog with a niche that you are interested in.
2. Do keyword research to look for keywords with high search volume but low competition.
3. Write articles or outsource your articles based on those keywords for onpage SEO purpose.
4. Build backlinks to your website for offpage SEO purpose.
5. Find relevant products to promote as an affiliate on your website.
6. Create a free ebook for your Opt-in page to build a list of subscribers.

Adsense Micro Niche Sites is a great way to start. Have learnt a lot creating them and they can be a source of passive income as well.

Pick a niche, then visit forums around that niche. See what their pain points are. Once you know that you can either build a list by create a free report which helps to solve their pain points, they have to opt-in to get once you start getting people on your list promote other peoples product around the niche from clickbank or JVZoo (affiliate marketing). Or you can create a product that solves their pain points and sell it to them.

I make money online from promoting CPA offers from various networks. I started off with some super-targeted grey-hat seo sites, which yielded free traffic and decent money. Then I used that money to pay for traffic from other sources, because I don't want to go broke some day when google changes their algorithm.

I make alittle money by making how to guides for my clients, CPA is another good option if you have the right offer.

Last time I make money by selling ebooks, now I make money by selling advertising space.

If you already have a website or blog with quality content and you're looking to make money with minimal further work beyond what you do now, I would suggest becoming a tradebit affiliate.

Up to 70% commission on sales (I make even more as a combined merchant and affiliate). They have easy to use widgets and even a check out and cart function, all of which are free. It was also free for me to sign up with my Facebook account. I incorporate lots of different tradebit products from music to eBooks on my site, and I think buyers aren't put off from my more 'ad-like' buttons.

I have also used commission junction extensively, but I get less sales via this avenue.

- Find a niche, maybe a market based niche, or passion based one
- Look for a potential market. Find any problem related to your niche while you researching it.
- Make your own product that can solve their problem.
- Make an original website or blog to help promote your new born website.
- Study SEO and how to make your website popular in search engine.
- The last but no least, DO PPC CAMPAIGN!

For me it is by selling services

Firstly, try to find a niche with little competition and good search volume. Direct you attention on 'how to...' niches! Find out what problems people might have in that niche and provide them a solution.
It would be smart thing to check if they are buyers too.
The next thing is building a landing page with a subscriber form. You can offer free product(video, pdf, course) to build a list. Try to educate your subscribers and give them value to build trust.
And then slowly and gradually offer people on your email list affiliate products.

I provide eyeballs to other's digital products. When the product sells, I take a cut.

Why do they do this? Because they are experts in their digital products and don't necessarily have a passion for building a site and driving traffic to it, figuring out how to make automated payment/download systems. They just want to build the product and sell it.

the simple answer is learn how to do it, read as much as you can and then put that knowledge in to action.

There are a lot of ways available to earn money online. You can join iwriter, demand studio, they can help you to start earning within a few hours(in case of iwriter because you have to write article and to get paid it needs to be approved by requester).hope this is useful for you.

Personally I create very keyword targeted small websites that I have been able to get ranked on google, yahoo and bing in the first 3 position for a certain keyword.
In saying that this is not as easy as it sounds and I will be soon releasing a product that will explain all this in detail.

Once I create these sites I then promote a particular product as an affiliate.

Then I work on getting more visitors to the site.

I repeat this process over and over and it does generate me a good income but with lots of persistence, trial and error.

Most importantly try to solve someones problem be it article marketing, site creation or what ever medium you plan on using and once you do then the traffic and sales will come. When you find some thing that work just repeat, repeat, repeat.
Also I always try to generate subscribers to my lists, every visitor to my site will either get some good information, sign up as a subscriber or purchase an affiliate product. In the end I have always helped them in some way and an email list can be used later on to generate immediate traffic or sales but don't spam your list with crap give them lots of cool free stuff.

I started out by freelance writing for Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo, with a focus primarily on Adsense.

With all the competition in the world of Adsense, it made sense to really begin pushing affiliate marketing through Linkshare, Commission Junction, and, of course, Amazon. I LOVE Amazon.

When I was a newbie, I relied on other marketers ideas such as ebooks, wso, and forums. Even though some or many of these strategies may not work the best, but I was able to at least take pieces of marketing strategies from each person and puzzle the strategies together to for my own marketing niche. Because I constantly test test test. I make more money for doing so.

As mentioned, there are many ways to go about doing it. Don't bother to go find the best way to do it, instead just do it. You can read and learn all you want but if there is no action there is no results, so just start something and work from there. Good Luck!

Most of my online income is earned by performing services. I do domain research for a company, then I write for doctors' and fitness experts' websites for $10 per 100 words, sometimes more; then I make a little off of PLR I sell. That's about it.

Oh, and I sell a website now and then for $700 to $3000 a pop, but it's the least consistent source of income by far.

I would say read a lot, learn a lot, observe a lot.
Everybody here, as I have seen, says you need to find the right niche first. It is important to analyze your abilities and skills for a start. What can you do? What can you do best? Then, find out what others want and adapt your skills to that.
You need hard work, patience, energy and a bit of luck :-)

Try creating an authority site in a niche, like the big sites you know? Like bodybulding.com and stuff.

Making an official real site is a good way to go, it takes a while to build up steam, but pays off in the end.

There is many a way to handle the question of how to make the money but primarily it will be with Affiliate Commissions, Paid Sponsorship Videos (Which I specialize in) and Product Creation and Promotion.

My process is pretty easy.
-Find an offer that converts first (dont really care what it is)
-Then find a keyword to match the offer
-Then rank the site on the first page of Google in 1-2 days in most cases

There is a lot to it, but that's the cliffs notes of what i do. I make all of my money through affiliate offers, which is scary easy right now...

offer value + compose it into a product + create several forms like ebook, audio, and video(for the backend) + get an autoresponder & squeeze page setup + drive traffic to your sp through fb ads, ppv, plenty of fish, solo ads (this is what i can come up with right now, there are a lot of other ways to drive traffic)

Product creation with integration marketing - which basically means create your own products and work in affiliate offers that will benefit your clients.

Affiliate marketing provides you the basis of all marketing. Once you have a good basis then you can find what you really want to dig into more. Always learn it though from someone professional and get the best training out there so you know how to do this. good luck

Research a Niche, Find out what problems they have, create a product to address those problems, write a great sales letter, create a WSO (offering PLR if it's not in the IM Business), then after that dries up an FSO, then move the product to Clickbank and the other Affiliate Networks, then place it on Amazon and Ebay - forget about traffic (let others take care of that)

Create an eBook full of real valuable content recommending Affiliate products as resources to put the system into play, create an opt-in page and give it away using solo ads, newspaper advertising, magazine advertising, post cards or SEO and then follow up with backend products.

Heard it many times, and is very true. You need a lead capture page, a decent auto responder and a product to promote, weather it be your own or one your advertising for commission.
you could buy solo ads( pay someone to use their list, and hope they join yours.) has mixed results but can be very beneficial.
Join As many Facebook groups as you can in the same niche and post daily. This is time consuming and only seems to get results, or optins for MLM programs and HYIPs(don't recommend HYIPs as they always fail), but results are results.
I Use Classified ads, craigslist etc. not to sure of the results here, but any exposure is a plus right?

you need to look for the best product in IM , that provide value for the customers , at the same time provide you with the highest residual commission .

First you need to create a landing page , and start building your list ,
drive traffic to your landing page , and start promoting the product that you choose

Find a niche with hungry buyers and find a high converting affiliate product to market to that niche. Join Groups and Forums in that niche and socialize and share your products.

I think the best way to make money online is to do something you're good at! I know web design is a great niche, great source of income, but if you're not good at it, you're not gonna make any money. It's just an example, that actually applies in my case. I know I'm not a good enough web designer, so I do other stuff instead, like writing, 'cause I know I'm already good at it.

For me it's running a series of information directories.

I started off buying re-sellers rights which in effect gave me 100% commission selling someone else's products. I did not have much experience about making money online so I bought an eBook on how to make online profit.

At that time Google Adwords were much cheaper than now but what sales I may have made did not cover my ad costs, so that did not last very long.

Since then I've tried affiliate marketing using ClickBank, and other similar services. All with the same result - sales did not cover ad costs.

I bought courses on making money using Facebook, again using affiliate products - same result - ad costs not covered by sales.

Recently I invested in a joint venture (JV) partnership and Whooppee for the first time in 10 years income generated covered ad costs by far. By the way the JV partnership includes training in online marketing, developing my own products and much, much more.

My experience is that a shortcut to really making money online lies in a carefully selected JV Partnership.
