I just want to ask if its easy to get affiliates to promote your services. Like...i can provide good seo services for a very good price but i cant get customers for my services. i was hinking to find affiliates and pay them per sale.

You could hire freelancers if you are selling seo services on sites like freelancer.

A quick, generalised answer, here: attracting and retaining affiliates (for services, as well as for products: they're the same in this regard) is relatively easy if you have a sales page which is reliably proven to convert targeted traffic. Without that, it's close to impossible.

The logic here is that without that, you won't be able to keep them even if you can attract them, whereas with that it won't be difficult to attract them anyway (other things being equal).

I'm not necessarily suggesting this is your problem, of course (you may have a brilliant service and sales page, but just not be attracting the right traffic at all) but many people have a product/service that simply doesn't sell, because of issues connected with the market, the sales page, the price, or some other reason (or combination of reasons) which is going to apply to the affiliates in exactly the way it applies to the vendor/provider - and where that's the case, "finding affiliates to sell it for you" really isn't going to be a profitable solution at all.

Forigve me, please, if that comes across as a "skepchick post", but it's rather common, here, to find posts from vendors saying, basically, "I can't sell my service: how do I find affiliates to sell it for me?" when sometimes the reality is that the reasons the vendor can't sell it are also going to apply to the putative affiliates. For this reason, the single most important parameter in attracting affiliates (unless of course your reputation from previous products/services attracts them on its own) is to have a sales page reliably proven to convert targeted traffic. And without that as your starting-point, it may be an uphill struggle.

If you can't make sales from your services, why do you think your affiliates will be able to sell them for you? Have you created a "toolkit" that provides your affiliates with the marketing tools that they need to successfully market your product?

Well im not really sure about that but basically i cant even find people to offer my seo services to. i dont have any tools for them, but i would pay them for every sale they make.

2 best ways to get affiliates:

    1. Promote their products and then have them promote yours. This is especially true if you top the list of a JV contest.

    2. Have a killer product that everyone wants to promote because it converts like crazy.

Anybody who tells you anything other than this probably has never tried recruiting affiliates....
