Does anyone have iDevAffiliate - Affiliate Tracking Software - Affiliate Program Software? Apparently this is the only affiliate software that works with my shopping cart. I'd love to hear from someone who has it.

Do you like it? Is it user friendly? What version do you have? Would you recommend it? What do you not like about it?

Thanks!!

I used to have iDev and I was pretty happy with it...it's user friendly and all that stuff but the only downside is that you have to recruit your own affiliates.

Also for alot of affiliates this is a turn off because this is a in-house affiliate program, lot's of JV's & Affiliate might think that you can rip them off...I remember that before anyone joined they used to email me and ask me this questions.

I have switched to CB for most of my products now, and I don't have any problems at all plus all the exposure that comes from the Clickbank marketplace is huge.

I have tripled my sales since I have moved my products on CB.

I use to own one of those programs and the hassle
of maintaining the program along with recruiting
affiliates and sending payments take away from
    the control you enjoy.

It's much like using your own autoresponder script
and using a third party solution. Some things you
just want to leave to the experts.

If you are not interested in recruiting a lot of
    affiliates then it works fine.

I use idevaffiliate for the affiliate on my custom shirt sites.

The program is great and I haven't had any problems. The only "problem" is that it is only a "program". It won't attract affiliates for you. You basically need people to visit your site to join the program. You can list your program in affiliate databases and other places.

I thought recently about putting my affiliate program on Share-A-Sale and using their affiliates. This post is making me think about this again actually.

    Hi there

Yes we do use iDev affiliate and once you have it up and running it is very good.

We went for the platinum package at $299 and it was a very good price for the product, this was a single fee that we liked.

The reason we went for iDev is that it gives you Google back link juice unlike Clickbank.

They have a control system for you the admin and a control system for the affiliate, it is really flexible in that you can upload loads of banners and make them clickable to wherever you want.

The only problems we had was that we had to go through a bit of a steep learning curve on setting it up as the instructions could be better.

However the support we got from Jim Webster, the guy who developed it was second to none, he went beyond the call of duty to help us out.

So yes we very much recommend iDev as long as you are aware it may take a bit of effort to get set up, saying that due to what we where doing with our membership site ours may have been more complex than most.

    All the best
