Best Way To Create Professional Opt-In Forms

Just try some WSO about list building things. There must be a clue what is the best and converting for your optin form.

OptimisePress. Awesome.

It's all I use and it integrates with Aweber.

Could you point to some examples of what you deem to be professional? "Professional" in this sense is rather subjective.

Also, check the Warriors for Hire section. There's a guy in there (Raw something or other) who makes some pretty sick squeeze pages. I'm sure he could do an opt-in form for a sidebar. He's not cheap, though.

I just did an optin form today... I am not tooo impressed with mine but it works and gets optins.... so it cant be that bad...

I will look to out source that though

As a web developer, my best suggestion is to take a little time and learn the basics of HTML code, practice for some time and you will be able to create your own opt-in forms the way you like.

But please understand that as any skill, it will require you some effort to learn a computer language. HTML is really basic and easy for that type of structures, so I would really recommend you that you learn it. Besides, this skill will come in handy with almost anything you want to do in your webpages.

You should visit a page like W3Schools Online Web Tutorials where you can have some very strong and basic tutorials for many computer languages, HTML included.

If coding is not for you, my best suggestion would be that you outsource the work.

You should be worried about what converts, not what looks good.

Having said that, I use 'profits theme'. A wordpress theme that makes nice looking squeeze pages with opt in forms.

There are some great tools out there for creating forms. Something to be aware of in WordPress is the theme may have CSS (cascading style sheets) that may alter the look of your form, so even if you find a form you like, it may not stay that way. You need one that won't be changed by the CSS.
On my site, I reworked the signup form to be horizontal rather than vertical, but one of the themes associated with one of my categories changes the way the form looks. (I use a plugin that allows me to assign a different theme to each category - nifty tool!)

To see the form altered by CSS try /zombies on my site. (It rounded the form boxes, which is cool, but shortened the width of the box so you can't verify your email is correct.)

If you feel like checking out how my form works, I use listwire, and have over 20 days of solid, free content including some completely original material.

I'm only citing examples from my site for your information, so you can see what a little tweaking to an existing form can do. (I hand coded the changes myself)

marcelomusza mentioned you should learn HTML, which can be helpful, but if you really don't feel like spending your time on it, you can probably find someone willing to do it for you on fiverr.com.

Another thing to consider is different browsers might make your form look different. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about the different browsers, because if you have the main ones covered (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) you should be fine.

You should check the warrior's for hire section of the forum. I know there are a few people there who offer this service. Some are cheap, some are expensive so you could weigh your options and decide what you like. For your blog theme the opt-in form itself is not as important as the funnel video or text to the form. That's just my opinion but I have been playing around for a while on my blog and I've found that it was the effectiveness of my funnel that ultimately decides the conversion rate of my site.

I would recommend Optin Skin it is a great plugin, from Viperchill. You can do so much with it, its easy to set up, you can test and track as well from wordpress.

Depending on your niche, you could put up an ugly squeeze page and still gets of leads from it. I would know.

You want conversions? I'm going to tell you something about 90% of the market. THEY WANT to see the "same old snickers" they see everywhere else when it comes to your sales pages/opt in forms. They see this stuff so much all over the internet their brain subconsciously gives them a sense of trust from the familiarity of it.

If you've seen it so much that you're desensitized, you're probably looking at a great one.

If you are serious then I think you should go for the premium themes. I think the best way is to hire a company and then Start giving them leads to build the exact themes
