    I'm not using it for either of those reasons. I'm using it to find people of like minds that I can work with on projects (e.g., potential JV partners). In other words -- no selling, just building relationships at this point.

    I'm on the same page as "R Hagel." I'm using them to build relationships and and to find people who will make great JV partners. Then later, as soon as you've built trust with your followers or friends, then you can start maybe selling something to them that can be useful to them

      To tell my friends about the trainings and seminars I'm attending... when I get new websites... and to inspire. They are great for finding like minded people and passively communicating with them daily.
