s2member - Plugin for membership site... Any Experience?

I was wondering if anyone has used the s2member WP plugin?

It looks like a pretty awesome solution to setting up a membership site. I plan on using this for an upcoming WSO.

My question is... can I intergrate this with WSOplus or JVzoo? This is what the developers state on the site:

Fully compatible with other affiliate management applications. Just about any affiliate management system will do. s2Member® makes it possible for you to integrate 3rd-party pixel tracking code snippets and/or event driven API Notifications, which can be used to speak with your affiliate management system silently behind-the-scene. If configured properly, event driven API Notifications are a more reliable way to track everything from registrations to recurring payments, refunds, reversals, chargebacks and more.

If you have used this for a WSO, or you can translate the above paragraph, please let me know.

    Hi,
    I do have experience... and it's not a bad product, but there are better ones. The good thing it's easy to set up, the bad thing it's not flexible enough for at least my demands... The only membership software for WordPress which could meet my demands is DAP (DigitalAccessPass) in combination with OptimizePress as a theme (but being in fact far more then only a theme). The 'bad' thing about DAP+OptimizePress is that it's more complex to set up then S2Members... the good thing again of DAP and OptimizePress, they have hours of videotraining HOW to set it up (but to do it, it at least takes you hours to see the videotraining).

    Thanks Wilko. I should have also included in my post that I would like to integrate it with OptimizePress. DAP may be the only option for now.
    Kajabi is an option, but it's going to be a one time WSO, and I would rather not keep paying $99 a month for eternity!

      Well, if you plan to use OptimizePress anyway, I would recommend you DAP... it integrates with almost everything and the support is superb!

    I have a lot of experience with membership sites but if you really want something professional use Membership software - aMember Pro

    On DAP users can pass the payment Wishlist the same
    Use something that is more professional and that's why i recommend Membership software - aMember Pro
    Or do everything in drupal.org

    Does s2member give the members the ability to register like with the standard WP member setup and give them the posibility to make posts on a blog etc.?
