Rate for creating backlinks

Dear Warriors,

I am just planning out my backlinking strategy and would like to ask for your advise.

I am going to be in weight loss niche, but my keyword is fairly easy:
on average 1.5 page rank of top 5 websites
on average 80 backlinks of the top 5 websites

From what learnt so far, it should take between 1-2 months to get to the top page of google with such competition, but I do not know how quickly I should be creating my backlinks.

I am going to use services like:L build my rank, digi traffic accelerator and backlinks energizer and would really like to know how quickly you would recommend to build the backlinks (assuming for a second that all backlinks are equal).

like: first 2 weeks, 10 per day
second 2 weeks - 15 per day
next 4 weeks 20 per day

then gradually slow it down.

I look forward to your replies
Arthur

Hold on a second. What the heck did you use to measure that? Majestic SEO? AHrefs?

Careful with BMR and any link indexing. Penalties for stuff like this is getting more and more severe every day.

Also, don't worry about link building rate. People say it "penalizes you". No. Spamming crap links might, but not getting too many links.

So if you can build 500 quality links per day, do it. But I'd advise not using BMR or any high profile link farms like that.

Seconded. There are fast people out there that can really make a lot of quality links out there. It's actually good that you're thinking of going slow because that can make sure that you're really playing it safe. That, plus you're giving yourself a lot of time to take care of other stuff like, maybe content creation for your site.

    Dear Cataclysm1987,

I use Niche Finder to do my research ;-)

Thank you for the warning, to be honest, I can even go slow as long as I am leaving my backlinks in the right places, I am now going to be going for really low competition keywords to get a general feeling of this so anyhow, backlinking should not take long I hope.

What services do you recommend these days?

Very few. Sadly anything even mildly grey hat is being outlawed and penalized like crazy. Making it very hard to make a living through SEO.

I know plenty of people suffering with this stuff. Truth be told, some of them deserve it, but whatever.

Just make sure you avoid public link rentals, spam and sitewide links from random sites. Do that and you should be safe.

Variety is the fruit of life ... and SEO! I wouldn't set yourself a goal of "x" back links a day on "x" places because that creates a systematic potentially detectable pattern.

diversity for sure, I am going to be using article marketing, social bookmarking, profile links and blog comments, maybe edu and gov,

I am however looking also for some useful services for at least semi-automation to help me with these.... what specifically you guys recommend?

this is what I use, how effect is it will let you know in 4 weeks.

    link wheel

scrapebox --> uaw articles --> tier 1 article sites ----> tier 2 blogs ---> tier 1 blogs -> money site

for link diversity, throw in some edu / gov back links, forum signatures, forum posts and let the fun ad games start.

As long as you are submitting "quality" content you can't really go wrong. However, if you have a brand new site I wouldn't throw 5,000 links a day at it because there is no way that these are going to be quality and you will surely get knocked back by google for looking "odd". Also, i highly recommend using BMR and Authority Link Network. As long as your content is good and you are not overly submitting articles you will never get slapped for this? There are some other not so good link farms but both of these still work well so I'm not sure why people are saying there will get you in trouble.

Two well respected internet marketers (Terry Kyle and Matt Carter) recommend about 60-100 good links with different diversity over the first month or 2.

Thank you Trilogy9013, I have also been following closely them two, but somehow missed their comments about using BMR, that convinces me towards getting it.
As I found out through the research yesterday, it is very likely that people are hurting themselves, when creating links as they are just going ballistic, getting slapped right down for it.

The idea is not how many links you will get daily ... the idea is to have a constant rate every day.
