Affiliate Programmes - The Good, Bad & Ugly?

I am currently developing my own JV/Affiliae programme and wanted to learn from any affiliate and/or product creators what factors they feel make up GREAT affiliate programs that attract high quality JV partners - outside of having a great product/offer and the credibility of the seller.

  • What things do you look most for in an affiliate programme?
  • What tools and resources do you expect or wnat to be provided? e.g email swipe, banners, social media posts?
  • What level of commission do you expect from an affiliate? Do you deserve 100% if you dont have a proven track record?
  • What factors turn you away from promoting for an affiliate?
  • Are most affiliate programs skewed to those with huge list or hyper responsive lists?
  • Are JV contests important?
  • Are a product creator what considerations do you have and need to make?
  • Are all affiliates treated equally to be fair or is the reality "reward the stars handsomely"?
  • Any other thigns you want or need...
