    A. Well, first sign up for Amazon Associates. Find niches you're interested in. High-paying, preferably, with low competition. Decide if you're going to write the articles yourself or outsource them.

    B. I assume you're using an email marketing service such as AWeber, iContact, Mailchimp, etc... if you're not, it's worth the investment. You have a couple options: paid traffic (AdWords/Microsoft AdCenter), SEO (definitely), there's also things you can do for the long-term such as posting on blogs, submitting articles to article directories with your link in the signature, etc.

    C. Yes. Not as it did "back in the day", but it still does. Follow their TOS, though.

There are plenty of correct answers to this question, so I won't worry about answering it as I'm sure someone will.

I will point out though that E-mail marketing directly to offers for Amazon's products through their affiliate network is against their ToS. So don't combine A and B if you know what I mean.

I have just gone through a short test of Chris Guthries new Amasuite software and have so far made 3 sales in the past few days from my efforts. Not ground breaking but I did not spend much time with it, and have only applied it to two of my sites. I believe it has great potential, I and will be using it more. Also maybe look at his Niche Profit Course on Amazon marketing. It has really helped me.

I also would check out post by paula and wanda, Jan Roos, and Erica Stone. They are all top notch in my book when I need to know anything to do with Amazon marketing and or physichal products in general.

      That is a fantastic post

In my experience, building an email list just to promote amazon products isn't going to work that great. Building an email list around a topic, and funneling people to your reviews or whatever you are doing can work.

Squidoo works well with amazon, especially for beginners.

I went through Chris Guthrie's Amazon course and have had a lot of success. I know he was just part of a product launch for a product that does keyword research for Amazon products. I bought that but have not yet used it.

The EasyAzon plugin is also extremely helpful.

Definitely go through one of the recent Amazon courses, it will save you a lot of time, once you know the basic ropes "build sites" till you get one to work, then do it again...

If you have the money to invest I would recommend buying either Jan Roos Proven Income Method or Paula and Wanda's Amazonian profit plan. I started with a different course (Deadbeat Super Affiliate) but I would invest in one of the other 2 if I had my time over again.

You don't have to follow a course. Everything you need to know is probably in this forum, but it's a lot easier if you have a step by step guide to follow from start to finish.

Don't get into this expecting to see instant results though. You'll need to be patient.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the owner of that site knows you can't use company names in your domain name. Nice site though.

Lets try and keep the information truthful and accurate here

You are NOT allowed to use TRADEMARKED names with your domain extension even if it is a review site that is just bad information.

By using a trademarked name such as CANON in your domain name you leave yourself open to be sued for trademark infringement or at the very least a cease and desist letter from their attorneys.

Unless you have written permission you are taking a big risk that you will lose your site and domain.

Many do it Many get away with it for a while but those that dont are very sorry but then its too late.

Don't REGISTER Trademarked domain names PERIOD.

        Kickin it on Amazon
