Does anyone know how to do this in Google?

I was doing a little research today and typed in "tinnitus miracle review".

https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...6l4j2j6j1l13l0

The #2 result caught my eye because it was the only one with a star rating review showing 4.5 out of 5. It even says "review by Kelly Collins"

My main question for starting this post is does anyone know how to put star reviews in Google search results like this person did?

I mean, to actually have the stars visible like that? It really stands out and visitors would be more likely to click on your link.

Don't you think?

BTW, if you look at that blog, it seems to be created specifically for the review. But what really caught my eye was the fact that the link to the sales page was not an affiliate link. Just a standard url directly to the site.

Probably was created by the owner of Tinnitus Miracle. Very well done. I mean, there has got to be hundreds of other affiliates fighting for this keyword and here comes a blog barely a year old and outranks every one of them.

It's even a PR3. How is that even possible. I thought Page rank was the overall popularity of a site?

This is called microdata or schema. Essentially, it allows you to add tags to HTML to define what you're writing about. For instance, if you are writing a review, you could use the schema tags described here:

    Review - schema.org

There are numerous schema tags you can use. You can talk about specific places, people, products, movies, tv shows, books, events, or just about anything else.

For instance, if you were to write a review of The Hunger Games on a site, how would Google know if you're talking about the book or the movie? Usually, the context can be used to make a pretty good guess.

However, you could use microdata to specifically tell Google and other services which version you are talking about. You can also put the review microdata in there to give it a rating. If it's on sale (maybe you're a dropshipper?), you can use the offer microdata to tell Google how long the sale will last.

    Wow, thanks man.

All this microdata stuff sounds complicated. I'm gonna take a look at that website you displayed.

Where does all this microdata go? Is there a plug in for it? :-)
