Need some guidance..

First you need to design the website once you have it looking the way you want it too post on some webmaster forums and ask for reviews this will help you get the design looking the best. next you need to do some SEO submit you url to all the major social networks digg, facebook, ect.. this will get your url crawled by google within about 24 hours now your site is listed on google but probly on page 50+ so you need to be on the top 2 pages at least.. to do this you need to build tons of backlinks with your keyword in anchor text.. do this every day about 10-20 times a day for about a month and you should be on page 1 or 2 of google also a tip is to make your url your main keyword makes it easier to get ranked.. after you are ranked on google page 1 or 2 you need to start advertising your site do this by commenting on blogs that are in your niche also post on facebook fan page walls in your niche and sign up on forums in your niche and be active everyday with your SIG link your site.. do all this and you should make some sales..

As many on the forum will advise, Wordpress for your site is wise.

i agree wordpress, learn wordpress...it is very easy to learn. look for free videos on this form. my definite recommendation is go with a coach. it is very hard to find good coach.
