Keeping Track of Earnings

My goal is to earn at least £60 a day to quit my day job (holding this steady for at least 8 months). This goal is perfectly targetable quite quickly as I run an online e-commerce site.

I do wish to know though how people manage to keep track of their earnings through IM per day. Do you have an excel spreadsheet or something similar?

    In my case, i have to keep track in diffrent ways, what i mean is i do both online AND offline marketing, for offline it'sa case of invoices etc etc, for online it's a case of logging into my account CPA,affllate accounts, and checking the figures.

    My accountant set up my spreadsheets in a way that will be easy to go through during tax time.

    Yep I use an excel spreadsheet. I also have a 'pot' in my bank account which I keep all my IM earnings in.

    I use Freshbooks, and a custom online database system. I like my stuff to be online because I want to be able to access my data using any computer.

    Since you run an e-commerce site, you might want to use systems like Quickbooks.

    Tracking earnings is good, but track profitability too. So consider tracking time and timelines, resources, expenses etc. Just a suggestion

    I'm with you in aiming to be an entrepreneur and be your own boss. You can do it. I did it two years ago. Wasn't easy, but persevere.
