NEED HELP

INTERNET MARKETING

HI everyone i really need some help here ok i bought 2 really nice niche websites a health and wellness site and a gaming site bought both of them here on wso i got everything going both are fully running i went ahead and got paid traffic from a very reputable company that drives traffic to websites this would be the 2nd day that they are both online and running now in those 2 days there has been over 4800 of traffic going to my sites and i also i went ahead and had them put them in online shopping malls all good right?? well i would think that with all that traffic shouldnt i have gotten a purchase or 2 or is there something im not doing right all my links are working haven't gotten any errors , or no email form google saying that im banned and what not, im just really confused about this traffic thing i beleive i atleast should of gotten one buy from all that traffic and about the company i bought them from they are legit and bbb certified and did a complete back round check they are by far the best source that ive seen yet and even know someone that goes through them and is very successful so is there anything i should be doing to these sites they are niche sites but full with really good content but no ones buying i know i seem impatient but that is alot of traffic and not seeing any results any advice would help

Paid hits and traffic are generally very poor quality - sometimes they don't even see your site as it is loaded in a small iframe, hidden window or other.

I'd focus on building links and encouraging organic traffic - slow and steady, always testing and tracking.

ahh ok thanks for the very helpful tips ill look into researching on how to get some backlinks goin for my sites, do you guys think i should write a couple blogs or article about them would that also attract some traffic too ?? if so where would be a good place to promote my products with my articles and blogs .

  Sadly there really are no shortcuts in this business. Just because there are people there doesn't mean they are going to buy. You need to provide value and build trust. That comes through quality content and sometimes (very often) an email campaign.
  
  Since you said one of your websites is health and wellness, you should check out Health PLR Membership | Health PLR Articles | PLR eBooks | Product Review PLR | Private Label Rights Articles. They provide a LOT of content every month for just $24.95. You could use that for your site, email campaigns, article marketing (great way to build back links), free reports to give away, etc. It's stuff like that when you start making sales. You really have to make an investment in your visitors.

yea it looks like ill go ahead and to it the original way too it wont bother me at all , this actually relieves me reading more about how all the professionals here say the same thing about paid traffic i truly thought it would help me out (guess not) this is my 2nd day fully operational though so im just starting out new still now as for writing articles and blogs, will these article spinners and blog spinners help me out i am not really good at writing article ( well for now since im still a noob lol ) would they help me out on atleast to getting a good idea on how to create them?

  Glad you can use it. The writing is top notch over there. So you're in good hands. PLR membership sites are a good way to go when you need a lot of content on a regular basis.

  Select a couple products and develop pages on them. Build backlinks to those pages via press releases, Web2.0 etc.
  
  Be sure you pick "buying keywords" that you can compete for.

okay the first thing you need yo do, before you do anything else is, ask your self what do you want the site to do, who is going to buy it and why , and then do key word research. Before you even try a link building service or software look at the competition, if the competition is high you have a very small chance of hitting page 1, so my advice dont waste your time, and no offence you have chosen the two markets that IM love weight loss and gaming, personally you have come to the right forum to find advice but keep your money in your pocket and dont waste it.

funny how you just mention about about doing a keyword search im actually doing that now lol and yea i do know i picked 2 very popular niche sites so i know there will be some competition im kinda checking out the low competitive keywords and just getting the hang of it, ive been doing alot of reading and researching that why i asked if those article spinner would help not only theyll create some articles it will give me some ideas what to do and how to write my own articles,, i appreciate everyone's tips they are all helpful and yes by coming here i saved myself butt loads of money allready lol so again thank you everyone much appreciated !!!

Paid hits such as places that promise you 10,000 hits to your site for $$xxx amount of money is basically lying to you. The hits are computer generated and not real people. You will learn from this experience and know in the future that you can not buy hits but you should use PPC, banner ads, and ezine ads.

Traffic alone is pretty useless. You need TARGETED traffic ... for a gaming website for example, you need gamers or people otherwise interested in gaming, because the website offers no value to another person.

Also make sure your website is well designed and has some ORIGINAL and VALUABLE content. The days of crappy autoblog content are quickly passing.

Also I agree with what many others have said. Pick some keywords, optimise your pages and starting building some backlinks. Make sure you do your research correctly before beginning though, or you could waste a lot of time trying to rank for an infeasible keyword

personally I have never had any luck with bought traffic it would be cheaper to outsorce traffic creation to a reputable company for 8 hrs a day for 1 month will cost you about $99 for month.
